2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Rue St. Denis, Montreal location... Draft... Milky, pear-colored ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is of very light lime? Grain? Straw?... mostly nondescript. Fruity, perfectly-balanced flavor. Tart and tangy... some kind of citrus blend. Light-bodied and dry with fizzy carbonation. Finishes watery, but fairly refreshing. Odd, but very decent.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dans le Vieux-Montréal. Très peu de collet, très légère arome de coriand, trop légé en saveur pour une witbier. Peut-être avec une lime serait mieux.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
[Ste.-Catherine St., Montreal]
Foamy, white cover dissipates to patchy with genle lace. Cloudy yellow. Sweet and soft, citrusy orange aroma with a touch of corriander and noble hops. The flavour goes from sweet malt to malt to corriander to a hint of citrus to no bitterness (needs more). Medium body (needs less) with moderate carbonation and a citrusy aftertaste.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is somewhat disappointing for a local brew in Lille, but that doesn’t mean that it is all that bad. The acidicity is high and the flavor is limited to a very light graininess amongnst loads of carbonation. At least it is an okay looking brew - cloudy white with a large, big-bubbled head.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the brewpub in Montreal
Dark cloudy yellow, lots of sediment, even more than most heavily bottle conditioned ones and this is a 4oz sample! Nose of sweet banana and rich clove. Nice sweetness with hallertau notes, a bit off with wheat flavor but good. Not too dry.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
07.07.05 Tap at Montreal brewpub. Served in a plastic, cafeteria style pint ’glass’ because I was on the terrace upstairs. Craterous white head, bespeckled with brown bits. Strong aromas of banana and clove, lemon translate to flavor. Full body, but quenching. Looking around, this was certainly the most popular brew on this hot but breezy night, my first night in the city. Could use more spice and a more lively body.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap Montreal
Large flleting head of white over a hazy yellow body.
Light malt and hop aroma with a hint of spice.
The aroma carried a spicy note and the flavor followed it up with a lightly sweet spritzy palate. Not bad although certainly not the best of this style that I’ve had.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Draught) Sampled at Les 3 Brasseur in Montreal. More wit aroma than the Blonde... Wheaty, thin. Pleasant, clouded lemon colour. Strong banana with a peppery spice. Straight forward and decent representation of the style.
