Pours with a cloudy yellow color. Very well done wit. Light on spices, more yeasty, perhaps more like a German Hefeweissen. Bready and a bit fruity with a medium body. Fresh tatsing. Served at 3 Brasseurs in Grenoble.

Pretty standard white here. There is a perfume quality to all of their beers. This is the only style that I found that quality to be appropriate. On tap at Montreal location on St Denis.

Draft at Saint Denis location - Really depressing take on a Belgian White. Good looking beer, cloudy with requisite internal glow, but terribly out of balance with lemon dominating all other flavors. If you have the chance pass.

This beer had the best flavor out of all the beers that Les 3 Brasseurs served which is not saying much. It was a good white beer with a strong wheat smell and flavor. Just had an OK texture and very small white head.

A translucent yellowish ale with a thin lacing white head. A pleasant light lemony aroma, with typical bananas and cloves. In mouth, a decent wit with bananas and a bit of lemon. Well balanced and honest. On tap at Montreal St-Denis location, March 16 2008.

Bottle: Poured a hazy light yellow with a fluffy white head. The aroma was a citrus. This is one of a smoother tasting in this style, not overwhelming with citrus, but contrasted nicely with spice.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2010 [514-20070811] Tap @ 3 Brasseurs (Montréal, QC). Light banana aroma holds hints of methane. Hazy, pale yellow white body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Light banana continues in flavour with wheat characteristics and a heavy yeast. Medium body is has spices throughout. Interesting to try though not special. (5/3/6/3/11) 2.8

[2904D-20100617] Tap. Citrus yeast aroma has nice floral flour notes. Murky, light brown yellow body with a long-lasting thick creamy white head. Light flour flavour has lots of citrus yeast, a bitter background, and odd dusty notes afterward. Medium body is a tad watery. Good. (7/4/7/3/14) 3.5

Drink a pint of this one at the 3 Brasseurs pub. Medium head. White color. Good taste and go down very well.

On tap at the St Catherine/Crescent location. Doesn’t look, smell or taste like a Wit, but is very good all around. I wasn’t aware this was available in bottles, or I’d have bought a couple. They sell "beer cocktails", one of which includes the great Sortilege mixed with this brew - highly recommended!

Biggish white head. Pale hazy grayish body. Artificial mealy aroma. Acidic sharp spicy mealy taste, kind of dry. Dry, citric metallic aftertaste. Didn’t appeal to me, to sharp, spicy, artificial and unbalanced. (0.275l draft Montreal, St. Catherine.)
