Had on tap at the brewpub in Montreal. This was a pretty decent wit. Somewhat thin in, but overall nice.

It’s better than hoegaarden but it ain’t much. It’s kind of got a light wheat taste, some yeast. A tiny bit of citrus. Some grainy bitterness at the end. Some kind of sudsy carbonation. On tap at brewpub

On tap at restaurant. A foggy yellow ale. Tastes very sweet, oranges and lemon. Very little bitterness in the finish, mostly acidity. Very accessible, very easy-drinking, I liked it even though it may have been a bit too simple.

Draft at the Lyon location. An unclear yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of coriander and wheat as well as lighter notes of lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and coriander as well as lighter notes of dusty hops, leady to a dry hay-like finish. The body is light. Boring.

Tap served at a good temp with a nice sized foamy white head that soon settle to a ring and a bit of lace. Color is a clear amber after it settles a bit. Aroma is malt, beer,  yeast, a bit of fruit and spice. Flavor is like nose with just the right amount of carbonic tang to balance  other flavors. Body is great; ditto carbonation. Finish is like flavor, has some length and surprisingly due to low alcohol a bit of warmth, but is very drinkable and well crafted.

26/12/2011 75cl bottle "3 Brasseurs Blanche" from 3 Brasseurs Paris Saint-Denis, brewed and bottled at 3 Brasseurs Eragny @ Akke’s place - BB: 17/1/12 (2011-730) Thanks to Akke for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy straw yellow beer, creamy big white head, a bit stable, adhesive. Aroma: pretty spicy, coriander, bit sour, wheaty, sweet touch as well. MF: way too much carbon, light body. Taste: citrus, bit chemical, dirty malts. Aftertaste: watery, bit chemical. Very light, lacking flavour, an insult for the style. :p

Pours a cloudy whitish golden with a small white top. Aroma is mainly wheat and some malt although it is very faint. Taste is light, wheaty with nice banana esters and some clove. Very nice Belgian White.
