4 oz. sampler from the tap. An interesting aroma. Pours a cloudy, very light yellow. I thought that this was by far their best beer offered on their sampler in August 2010.

Poured from a tap, cloudy yellow color, small white head. Medium clove aroma. Medium body with a sweet clove flavor and a nice finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at their Toronto bar. Opaque straw colour with a loose white head; grainy citrus aroma; grainy body with a tart taste; and a dry finish. A rather generic white ale.

On tap at the Kanata location. Cloudy golden body, small white head. Aroma of banana and coriander, slightly sour, lemon, a touch of herbs. Taste is sour: lemon juice, grains, metallic and a tad mineral. Bad or spoiled.

Very hazy, very yellow, small pearl white head. Very simple aroma, some white sugar, white bread. Taste is quite harsh, astringent even. Not without character due to the murky appearance and harsh notes, but not special either.

Typical looking wit. Spicy and wheaty aroma. Quite a clean taste. It is clean and fresh with a hint of orange citrus. Weakish flavour, a bit watery.

On tap @ Les 3 Brasseurs Laurier. Hazy yellow with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma is almost only cloves and ginger with soap hints of citrus. Taste is almost the same and the citrus is harder to find while the soap isn’t. Light/medium body. Moderate carbonation. Soapy finish. Subpar Witbier that isn’t that bad, but lack of everything (drinkability, balance, flavor, refreshing quality) I’m looking in a Witbier.

Ottawa brewpub and restaurant. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a small white head and not much lacing. Spicy nose with the coriander and notes of oranges. Same for the taste but milder. Belgian Ale yeast comes out eventually with the food. Very light tart mouthfeel from the yeast. This is a refreshing citrusy witbier, on the light side, which makes this decent for hot summer days.

Tasted as part of a sampler flight at one of the Montreal locations. I won’t go into specifics on this particular beer because I was disappointed equally in everything that was tasted at this place. Out of the 6 tasted though this one was the most drinkable.
