Bottle. [thanks Søren & Feldthaus]
Pours pale yellow with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma is sweet, estery, apples, light phenolic, grassy. Medium carbonation, okay creamy and a bit light in mouthfeel. Flavour is grainy, wheat, estery, mild melon, apples and grassy bitterness. Okay.

Served on draft. No head but served chilled like a lager. Nice citrus notes, good aroma, nice on a summer’s day, as slightly bitter finish

Bof.

draught@brewpub, Montreal Ste-Catherine - clear pale golden beer with a little head retention; very shy aroma with hints of malt and flowery hops; medium-bodied, pretty astringent, dry and with a biting bitterness; short corny finish - totally green

On tap at the brewpub in Papeete, Tahiti, pours a clear yellowish with a nice white foamy head. Smells like a light beer, tastes like a light beer, though smoother and creamier than the typical brewpub light beer. Their others are worth the effort.

It’s not that bad for the style. THere’s a bit of a wheat bitterness to it that gives it some kind of flavor other than chemical wellness. I’d drink it before molson or something like that. Actually some nice tracing. On tap at brewpub.

At 3 Brasseurs Lille. clear pale gold thin white head. cereal aroma. touch of lager sweet malt in mouth. its fine. but dull. slightly above pale lager status but not a huge amount of flavour and character. touch of lemon. fine and yes fresh and good to have here. some yeast character even. if you dig deep enough its an ok blond. some spicy hop on finish. ok

I tried this beer on draught on March 2, 2012 at "The 3 Brewers" in Toronto, Ontario. The beer poured a translucent medium gold colour with a thin snow white head that lasted a while. The aroma was grassy malts, cereal, yeast and some floral hops. Mouthfeel was medium bodiued with medium carbonation. The Les 3 Brasseurs yeast is very distinctive and was very noticeable in the flavour. Smells and tastes like a belgian strain. Aside from the yeast, the flavour is dominated by the malt.

On tap at restaurant. A clear golden ale with a greenish tint. Taste is very sweet, fruity, citrus. Nice citrus bitterness in the finish. Average bodied, the most positive surprise I’ve had at L3B.
