Solvently green off-aromas and tastes spoil what should be a comfortingly malty pale golden belgian style set off with warming alcohol and a dry bite of hops. It was stupid to sell this beer unripe.

Toronto brewpub. Standard stuff here, medium yellow, small white head. Grainy aroma. More grain in taste, light hops in finish. Clean and drinkable, but nothing much else to write about.

Tap at Brewpub: (St Denis Location) Golden pour with good clarity- small/medium bubbles in the white head. Very yeasty aroma- evidently Belgian esters. Fluffy feel with a mild malt back in the flavor with a touch of bubblegum sweet phenol notes. A touch mineraly toward the finish. Simple, but it remains dry making it drinkable.

Blonde ale that was pretty bland except for that damn perfumey quality that all of their beers have. Worst of the four.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Light pale golden yellow with a very very small white head. There is a very light taste, flavor and the palate of water. I wasn’t impressed with much at this brewer and this was the worst of the 4 I tried.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A lightly hazed ale with a very thin lacing white head. Sweet phenolic aroma, with honey and light spiciness. In mouth, a lightly sweet malt, with chalky notes, and sustained German hops. A bit cloying in the end. On tap at Montreal St-Denis location, March 16 2008.

Bottle: Poured a golden color with a white pillowy head. The aroma was fruit and hops. The taste is that of fruit or perfume with a dry hoppy spice finish.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2010 [515-20070811] Tap @ 3 Brasseurs (Montréal, QC). Light floral wheat aroma with a hint of tropical fruit. Clear, yellow gold body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Mango fruit and pineapple sweet flavour has a lightly sour pucker for a finish. Medium body, nice. Impressive. (6/4/6/4/13) 3.3
[2904B-20100617] Tap. Quite wheaty yeast aroma. Clear, yellow body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Thick and yeasty flavour with some citrus zest. Medium body. Fine. (7/4/7/3/14) 3.5

Biggish white head. Pale yellow body. Light grainy malty aroma. Dryish mealy taste of Christmas spice with fruity notes. Surprisingly sharp. Dry, mealy sharp spicy aftertaste. Nice, but the spices are too sharp and unbalanced, on the whole not worth a detour. (0.275l on draft in Montreal, St.Catherine)
