3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 sebletitje (4413) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUL 1, 2011
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 30, 2010
(Bottled, no BBE) Murky amber, lemonadey head, dull aroma. Flavor is equally dull, with a touch of honey, malt, cardboard, ginger, some tartness, no hops, no alcohol. Low CO2. Either the bottle is old and this doesn’t age well - or it’s just not very good to begin with. 4145

Bottle. Hazy amber pour with a big longlasting off white head. The aroma is quite spicy, light peppery with some acidic notes. The flavour is spicy, bit citric, bit acidic with light notes of honey and caramel. Highly carbonated. Light acidic and peppery finish. Reminds me of some Fantome beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 thewolf (8669) - Kolding, DENMARK - APR 3, 2010
Bottle, bought @ Bierkoning, Amsterdam.
Murky amber with a smallish, fizzy, off-white head. Very fizzy head, really. Aroma has lots of sweetness, heather honey, flowers, caramel, light viniousness, some toasted notes, light plums. High, prickly carbonation, fine, lightly oily mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet honey, toasted caramel, figs, plums, vinious. Very flowery feel to it. Fine, even if it is quite high in carbonation.

Bottled (from BelgianShop, probably very old vintage, as no BBE dates can be found anywhere). Deep goldeny amber colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is honey, wood, mild spices, some sweet malts as well as some yeast. Flavour is quite dry, herbs, spices, yeast and some wood along with slight sweet malts and some honeyish notes. Some mild earthcellary notes in the background.
