bouteille from saveur-biere.com. Hazy amber colour, mid-sized off-white head. Light-bodied, perhaps a bit thin, malgty base with some shy hops and a fruity overall touch.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
18.11.13 Bottled 330ml Saveur. The worst gusher bottle for ages: more than half exploded away quickly. Dark amber color, good beige head. Aroma has toffee and yeast. Medium-bodied. Caramel, fruityness, vegetables and yeast. Also heavy flavor of berries. Not infected but fucked up yeast.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fairly dark amber body with stable head. Very pleasant hop mix, caramel malts and forest yeast. Drinks well, much richer than I expected. Great mouthfeel, flavourful ending. Surprisingly good. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Courtesy of JK. Dark brown color with a medium head. Aroma and flavor are very much the same, with a strong bready/yeast character rounding out a good malt base. Light spiciness. A bit "cellar-ish".

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Purchased in Paris, October 2011. Dark brown and the beer started to slowly bubble up from the bottle after opening. Well carbonated. Aroma has yeast and an earthy, moldy quality that another described as cheese. Dry malt flavor with more of the earthy quality and light spice. I was surprised by the low scores for this beer. It is not very exciting but what is there is good.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slight gushing to huge beige head, dwindling over clear chestnut beer. Bit nutty, but also dusty, yeasty. Sweetish-nutty, bready; warming caramel. Sweet, yet dry enough; feels well-carbonated as -attenuated. Quite alike to a none too strong German dark Bock. Finish has a slight, tantalizing lactic-sourish flavour. Medium bodied, slick, if a tad watery. Light; not bad, just neither exciting.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, at grünerløkka festival. A lightly hazy, orangey amber beer with a dense, beige head of moderate size. Sugary nose with dried fruits and some piney notes. Some spiced hints, and a herbal touch. Sugary, sweet caramel flavour with bitterness and a herbal touch in the flavour. Full bodied, lightly warming and soft on the palate. A quite pleasant one, although a bit sweet one. 120825
