Excellent pour, nice bright brown body with carbonation as well as a good off-white, sort of brown puffy head. Aroma is watery malted barley. Taste is spicy malts and barley, heavy on the spicy, with a sharp but watery finish. Pretty good, but not great, and lacking in a complexity that would propel it into a bracket of being exceptional.

Bottle at Grünerløkka Brygghus. Pours slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet dried fruits, caramel, malt and alcohol. Some sweetness and bitterness also a little bit sour.

(33cl bottle) Pours a lightly hazy amber body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of yeast, herbs, and nuts. Flavor of yeast, herbs, anise, raisins, and caramel.

Bottle 330ml.
Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting - diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, nutty, light yeasty, light licorice - anis. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100111]

Cloudy orange with a tiny white head. Spicy aroma with banryard and yeasty notes. Spicy flavour with barnyard and toasted malt. Finished spicy.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Hazy amber color. Pungent yeast aroma, some nuts, dust, alcohol. Weak mouthfeel, poor caramel flavor, too much cabbage off-flavors; dry and rather harsh finish. Another disaster fermentation from this brewery.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has notes of hops and spices as well as faint notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and a bit of nuts, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty, light spiced. Sweet, mild fruity and light roasted. Lasting fruity flavour into the finish.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma with some yeasty hints. Sweetish fruity malty spicy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy finish with some yeasty hints in the aftertaste.
