Bottled. A hazy red-brown beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, nuts, and a bit of lemon. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

20/II/2012 on tap @ Monk’s Café (Lille) - BB: n/a (2012-149) Thanks to Franck for the beer!

Clear brown beer, small beige head, unstable, adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, very fruity, red forrest fruit. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, touch of exotic fruits, bitter hops, little sweet malty. Aftertaste: dry fruity bitterness. Surprisingly hoppy for a winter brew!

Pours a darkish red/brown. Aromas of spice, coriander, yeast, and alcohol. Flavor has an alcohol taste to it, mixed with a nice smokey dark fruit. Also has strong hints of spice and orange.

Bottle 33cl. A brown beer with medium head and good lacing. Smell is fruity. Aroma is medium sweet to low with nice spicy and chocolate notes. Better than expected, good orange bitterness with cinnamon at the finish, nice resin hips is there too. Could be a great beer if more body and more creamy, the basis are there.

Nice clear ruby-amber colour, big solid head. Faint aroma of coriander and malt. Taste has a sharp barley start and a sour spicy barley finish. Meaty and not too bad.

Bottle from Cave à Bulles. Pours mahogny with a small head. Sweet, spiced and quite perfumey nose. Quite malty in the mouth with clear caramel and spices providing balance. A bit grainy mouthfeel. Not a Nobel Prize winner, but quite a good Christmas beer.

Bottle: Half of the bottle foamed out of the bottle when I opened it and I am afraid that their was a infection in that sample. Quite sourly nose with intensive notes of lemon. Amber color, creamy head. Flavor is also sourly but sweetness too. Notes of roasted malt and hop bitterness in the end. Dry, light bitter finish.
