A great very interesting rendition of an IPA. something like a mix of Two Hearted and Hopslam with a nice touch of belgian yeast. well done. fantastic beer. toccata (70), grembergen, Belgium Mar 21, 2007 Orange to amber beer with a fine creramy white foam. Aroma is like a very good full boddied pils with lots of herby and citrussy hops. The beer is malty and very hoppy with lots of caracter. Taste is very tastefull and well in balans. Dry taste with lots of pils-mals and some cara’s, slight citrus accent and perfect selection of hops. Great caracterfull thirst killing beer. Tasted at the ZBF 2007 MesandSim (5790), London, Greater London, England Mar 9, 2007 A Mes rate:
Draught at ZBF (The Final Batch 8%). First of all, I have to say I’m swayed slightly by the fact that it has my name on the label. Wow. 8 lots of hops, you have to give that respect. Such a fine hoppy aroma with plenty of citric and spruce notes as you would expect. Very good creamy palate, almost full-bodied. Flavour is floral and again superbly hoppy. This is about as green as beer can get. Dry bittering finish. This is not even my style but enjoyed this immensely. madsberg (4873), Søborg, Denmark Mar 8, 2007 Draught (The final batch 8%). Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense white head. Herbal, spiced and sweet aroma. Is a bit perfumed, but not unplesant. Herbal and flowery flavour. Spice and sweetness is there. Is medium to full bodied. Dry and balanced. Dry spicy end with a nice bitterness. Really good one. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 6, 2007 Draft at DRE. Turbid dark straw pour with some brownish floaties. Aroma of funky yeast, hops, perfumy spicy florals. Tastes caramel malty, hoppy, with funky yeasty notes coupled with some florals. Decent complexity, and very well made. SHIG (2012), Aviano, Italy Mar 4, 2007 Draught: Poured a hazy orange amber with light soft white head. Smell was floral and pine cone. The taste was a strong bitter citrus flavor. goozen (1061), Leiden, Netherlands Mar 4, 2007 Tap at ZBF. MrBendo (1039), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Feb 24, 2007 Tap at the Drafting Room. Hazy orange/amber. Aroma of citrus (orange), yeast and sugar malts. A nice caramel malt backbone. Light bitter finish.
