Feb 24, 2007 Draught: Moderately sweet aroma of fruit and hops. Also lightly sour. Looked like a cup of coffee with cream in it. Brown water. Small white head. Opaque. Small lacing. Flavor was lightly sweet. Tasted like a creamy coca-cola. Hoppy, but also with a candyish sugar to it. Soft carbonation. Light body. No finish. Interesting.

Feb 20, 2007 Draft, Max’s 3rd Annual Belgian Beer Festival. Pours a hazy, golden-orange color; white head with beautiful, fine-bubbled lacing. Plenty of coriander, vanilla, and marshmallow in the aroma. Full, viscous, honey-laden mouthfeel: lots of chewy candy sugar, coriander, and marshmallow; light carbonation; plenty of esters and herbal/piney hops, without much bitterness; on the sweet end of the spectrum. Long, sweet candy sugar and marshmallow finish.

Feb 17, 2007 (draft) Hazy amber body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, herbal, some yeastiness. Taste is medium sweet, yeasty, herbal, peach, nice bitterness. Smooth medium-full body.

Dec 28, 2006 On tap at Essex Ale House. Hazy golden in color with a nice white head. Yeasty hoppy aroma. Coriander notes. Citrusy hops. Grapefruity and orange notes. Yeasty and fruity hoppy flavor. Finish is bitter. Dry tasting. Well balanced. Medium bodied. Very drinkable. Wow. Excellent.

Dec 11, 2006 On tap at Brickskeller in DC. Reminded me a lot of Houblon. Nice American fruity, resin-y hop flavors combined with fruity esters from a belgian yeast strain. For american hops I might guess Cascade and/or Centennial/Amarillo. I didn’t taste any pungent Columbus/Summit type thing going on; strictly clean bittering hops with Cascade deriviatves at the end and in the dry hop. Very drinkable, nice and dry, not too sweet. Got better and better as it warmed up. Tsted it in conunction with Urthel Hop-it. I liked this one better, as I think it was more balanced. Excellent.

Dec 2, 2006 Tap at The Belgian Room. Hazy cloudy deep golden/orange beer with a very creamy white head. Aroma is very yeasty and spicy showing cardomom, cinnamon and spicy noble hops mixed in as well. Zesty fresh saaz hops along with American-style juicy tropical hops. Sweet orange peel, mango, a bit of wheaty character and a spicy yeasty flavour as well. Moderate bitterness, but great fresh fruity hop flavour from start to finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Very tasty brew.

Nov 28, 2006 Body that’s a hazy gold with a minimal white head. Sweet aroma, floral with some light fruits. Fruits and hops dominate the flavor, citrus accents being the most prevalent.
