COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
MERI!

Had this in Marseille from a bottle. Corn and some sweetness, but not much going on here at all. Bland.

Bottle 33cl. Clear pale golden color, small foamy white head, quickly diminishing, no lacing; aroma sweet malty, grainy, bit floral, bit iron; light taste, medium sweet, slightly bitter; light body, oily to watery texture, average carbonation, bit flat palate, finish light bittersweet, grainy, metallic; overall not bad for a pale lager but way to thin for a pilsener.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with small frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of citrus, grassy hops and cereals. Taste starts light sweet malty, follows by grassy and citric acidity with dry papery mouthfeel and unpleasant mild bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Not a thirst killer, not even painkiller, just a pain in the ass :)

BOTTLE 33 CL. Look: clear golden, small white frothy head. Aroma: some malt with medicinal sweetness and slightly mineral. Taste: sweetish, baked apple, dusty husky grains. Not a pilsener, but the baked fruit sweetness is pleasant.

Extremely pale golden body, absolutely filtered to death it seems, which even creates an instable bubbly soda head to it doesn’t even look good there. Minimal malts, sleazy sweetness, hopelessly hopless, atrociously artificial and cloying corn... I have no good word for this beer. From the E-numbers, glucose and corn as ingredients to the pretentious marketing aimed at unknowing locals and tourists. Even the big "serve ice cold!" recommendation isn’t going to help anyone enjoy this beer. Did not finish half a glass -- not for the taste (it’s non-existent) but I don’t want to take any calorie as bad as this. (50cl can from La Saveur Bière)

Brewed in Czech Republic for a French beer company and apparently "à servir glacée"... Creamy, snow white, sticky head, very pale blonde colour, bit greenish hue, lively sparkling. Grainy aroma with sweet pale malts, grass, hay, iron; neutral taste with some sweet pale malts, green apple, light sourish touch, very smooth mouthfeel, light grassy hops in the finish but otherwise a bit watery, also a butter-like quality (diacetyl??). All in all, not bad for a pale lager, but if regarded as a Bohemian Pilsener as is the case here, I had way better.

Light golden pour. Small white head. Very light biscuit malt aroma. True to the blonde lager style. A bit sweet, light malt flavor. Some hop hints. Light sweet finish.

Golden coloured, no head. Fairly light, malty and a bit sweet. OK on a hot day.

Pours a clear golden color topped with decent frothy white head. There is a fairly strong malty aroma, corn and slight skunk. The body is nicely balanced, finishes with more than decent bitterness. Ice cold is very enjoyable. A beach beer.
