MERI!

Medium Gold with a soapy lasting white head. Smell of malt and hay and butter. Straw and a stong cardbord taste that lasts. Medium thin body. Licking cardboard would have the same effect. Sweet corn start with a dry hop bitter finish. Grainy in the carbonation. Medium Lager.

Opened a bottle while camping in the mountains near St. Tropez. Simple and boring brew, with some diacetyl in the flavor and a rather creamy texture. Nice label though. And as it’s cold, I won’t complain.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained normale carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear golden color and a light sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is light hoppy bitter with a light malty touch. This beer smells light malty.

Found in 330ml bottles in Paris’ 12th arrondissement. Pours very attractive, light yellow-ish colour with foamy head that doesn’t disappear very fast. Aroma is smooth malts, yeast, grains. Taste is slightly tinny breadiness, dough, just enough syrup to make it smooth. Actually quite good - I recommend drinking it not too cold, in spite of the label demanding it to be "served chilled".

Dogbrick (4843) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 22, 2009
Sample at the Eurostash II tasting on 12/12/09: The beer is a clear yellow-gold color with a thin white head that diminishes steadily. Thin stringy lacing on the glass. Sweet honey and fruit in the nose. Light body with a flavor reminiscent of Bit-O-Honey candy. Notes of doughy malt and citrus as well. The finish is short with a sweet honey aftertaste. Average overall.
