Slightly hazy amber pour. Aromas of malts and yeast. Flavor is pretty mild for the style. Subtle malt sweetness and a touch of dried fruit. Decent but nothing spectacular

33cl bottle. Cloudy amber, white head. Smells of bready malts, lots of belgian yeast and some sourness, unripe berries. Similar taste, very light hops, no bitterness.

GSAP (497) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 23, 2014

Very light amber color pours with two inches of head. Nice aftertaste, but does not manifest unique qualities from other strong Belgian ales. Resembles a trappiste but doesn’t make me want to get it again. Nice beer on its own but doesn’t distinguish itself enough from its peers.

AROMA: leather, iron, bread, APPEARANCE: amber, hazy, frothy, white foam, TASTE: light sweetness, medium bitterness, PALATE: medium body, thick feel, lively, astringent, long finished OVERALL: nice amber, except for the hints of iron that are quite sharp.

Pours amber with a hint of haze and a tan head. The nose is fruit, rich malt, yeast. The taste follows the nose. Medium body with crisp carbonation.
