750 ml bottle Aroma is pleasant, suprisingly bitter for a belgian beer, plenty of sweetness, almost floral. Beautiful bottle - Caracole makes lovely labels. The beer attempts to foam violently out of the bottle like champagne, but is quickly subdued. After the first pour or so the sediment kicks up, clouding the light orange-golden liquid. Quite satisfying, the bitterness may be a little overassertive...

Strong carbonation, coppery in color. Spicy, doughy, with very much the same yeast characteristics as the saxo. Solid.

Bright amber. Quite thick head, stable. Nose with ambrée malt, caramel, nutty, herbal. Taste gives caramel, liqueurish, Amer Picon, ginger. Sweetness is balanced by the spicyness of the brew. Retronasal vegetable as fried carrots. Quite well-bodied. Velvety mouthfeel. Long lasting spicey-sweet liquerish flavour. Nice brew. I like most beers by La Caracole - as well as their labels.

Highly citrus flavor. Long-lasting head - a little too carbonated. Cloudy golden color...a decent Belgian, but not great.

Cloudy, near gold appearance. Aroma of citrus, apples and pears. Smooth, medium bodied. Flavor is slightly spicy, with hints of lemons, orange peels, and a malty sweetness which slowly gives way to a building tartness. Sweetness returns for the finish, and some yeastiness comes into play. A tasty and well-balanced belgain.

Slight hoppy spice and a dash of raisin sweetness. Small active offwhite head of mostly fine bubbles. Hop bite is slightly overshadowed by its rich sweet ending. Beautiful clear yellow orange brew slowly laces the glass. Only complaint is it seems overly sweet.

Bottled. My label stated 8%. Orange coloured, cloudy and relatively lively. Sweet, clean and medium bodied. Notes of fruit and spices. Late, harsh bitterness.

Brightly carbonated in appearance and feel. Soft thin caramel cookie malts are sweet on the roof of my mouth. Ended with a nice amount of dry bitterness.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium amber, dense tiny/small particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately yeasty (cobwebs), lightly malty (cookie, toasted grain), lightly hoppy (lemon, flowers), with notes of orange, apricot, and honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Yeast dominates a bit too much in both nose and finish, but it's pretty good for a Caracole brew.
