Dense, fruity aroma with a cellar like tartness. A touch of perfume. Damp/wet(sic!) and thin body. Almost stale, surprisingly enough since the head smells fresh and is alright. Subtle and elegant. Aftertaste is quickly disappearing and mildly bitter. A light and qualified craftsmanship but not a sublime beer. 2011-10-27

Bottle 0.33L. Slightly hazy amber body with a large, frothy, off-white head, mostly lasting with nice lacing; high density of tiny bubbles. Moderate malty (caramel) and yeasty (earth) aroma with notes of spices (coriander) and some ripe fuit. Moderate and nicely balanced bitter and sweet flavour with light acidic note. Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.

Color is nice golden, head little, nice big bubbles. Taste is nice, quite fresh but I did maybe something wrong and I taste metal or aluminium. Not sure. I can taste that it is not bad beer but the after taste ruins it for me.

Overall a decent beer. Not much to look at in terms of color and head. Good ripe fruit flavors.

Bottle @ friends/chef. Appearance: pours hazy amber with strong soapy off-white head and lacing. aroma/taste: bread, acidic berries, toffee and some fruity notes. palette medium yeasty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, average sweetness, somewhat balanced by a light to average bitterness, medium duration and an oily texture. Overall:sour strong ale, not great

0.33 l bottle from Firma Bier. Amber color, sparking with big bubbles. Aromas of orange, toffee and musty yeast. Taste of toffee, bread crust and orange with some earthy and musty yeast notes. Carbonation is a bit sharp at first, but swirling the glass softens the palate. I rarely praise these Belgian amber beers and this one is no exception. Toffee and musty yeast are fairly dominant flavors giving this a humdrum feel.
