Almost stale, surprisingly enough since the head smells fresh and is alright. Subtle and elegant. Aftertaste is quickly disappearing and mildly bitter. A light and qualified craftsmanship but not a sublime beer.

33cl bottle @ Pivní rozmanitost, Prague, 30. 3. 2013. Hazy golden orange colour with huge white head. Aroma of spice, apple and peach. Complex taste of ginger, spice and caramel. Really good beer.

Botella. Presencia limpia carbonatada y corona densa blanca. Aroma malta y levaduras con un toque ácido y al final algo de fruta pasada. En boca hay levaduras y malta, ligeramente metálica con un agradable final seco

Birra ambrata, mediamente schiumosa, dolciastra al naso e che presenta note di caramello e frutta essicata ben amalgamate con una discreta dose di luppoli. Corpo medio, effervescenza vivace e buona persistenza, guadagnerebbe punti con un briciolo di profumo e complessità in più.

Botella de 33 cl. Color amarillo oscuro, turbio...muy bonito. Con una corona de espuma densa,abundante y duradera. El olor me recuerda a frutas, citricos....En boca es una perfecta mezcla de dulzor y amargor sin que ninguno prevalezca sobre el otro.

Aroma: Faint. Bubblegum, scotch, vanilla, caramel, quite a sweet smelling beer. Some banana and spices but not much.
Appearance: Cloudy amber with a white head. Head fucked off in 2 minutes.
Taste: This is where the beer shines. Nice strong caramel malt flavours, great hop flavour, lots of spices and other interesting things going on.
Palate: Spicy, medium CO2, mouthfeel slightly mouthcoating. Not super complex but decent enough. Alcohol isn’t detectable.
Overall: Better than what I was expecting given my experiences with this brewery’s Nostradamus. Pretty good beer.

33cl bottle - Old school Wallonian strong ale: full of flavours, but high on syrupy caramels, noticeable ABV, spice, ripe fruits (pear, apple, raisin). Too oily & unctuous for straight regular enjoyment.

Aroma is somewhat spicy and sweet with caramel and orange peel. Flavour has spices, alcohol, caramel, raisins and sugary notes. Too boozy.
