Bottle. Light clear brown body. Big fluffy lasting beige head. Aroma of dark caramel, belgian yeast, fig and raisin. Overall quite sweet. Flavour of caramel, figs and raisin, spices, yeast, alcohol. Background is port like. It complexifies as it warm. Medium sweet, alcoholique and ligthly bittet finish. Medium-full body low carb. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

F: pale brown head. C: murky hazy red brown. A: dark malty, port wine, dates, honey, chocolate, a lot of dark sweet caramel malt, alcohol and faint earthy mushroom and yeast aromas. T: remind of Struise Pannepot, full caramel body, low carbonation, porto like taste with a lot of plums, cherry, caramel, dark fruits, chocolate, a hints of coffee, raisins, wood, lemon, anyway great beer and surprisingly found in Carrefour express beyond the corner just for 1,6e, recommend to taste.

Final potente y alcoholico.

Bottle split at LKS skyline, thanks to Soapey, 27/05/15. Chestnut brown/amber with a big old light beige cap. Nose is sweet, candied almonds, caramel, light yeast, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises sweet licks, caramel, dates, fruit cake, yeast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok Belgo, drinks below its ABV but a little overly sweet for me.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Paul. Pours clear copper with a big, foamy beige head. The nose has some ripe, almost rotten fruits, berries, dates. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with lots of bready, some tangy plum, mellow earth, raisins, faint metal. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish with tangy, ripe berries, rich bread, more plum. Fine.

Bottle for dirt cheap shared at Leighton’s. It pours clear deep mahogany brown with a thick beige head. The nose is sweet, candied action, dark fruit, toasty brown sugar and sweet roast. The taste is sweet, roasty, candy sugar, light metallic twang, dark fruits, plum, raisin, light spice and earth with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and high carbonation. Ides a very well, but there ain’t much to it.
