Znakomite piwo, o pięknym ciemnym kolorze, z wielką pianą lekko bezowa. Aromat toffi i jakby winiaka.

Plum, licorice, malts, caramel, toffee, quite carbonated which keeps the alc in check.

Dark, brown, thick head which lasts a while. Subtle aromas of tea and a hint of caramel. Flavours of Malts, yeast with an after taste of tea. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a burnt deep brown - very thin tan head that lingers as a film. Aroma is a chameleon - one second I’m getting heavy brown sugar and candied malt, the next I’m picking up heavy banana, and the other thing I’m getting is a telltale Belgian yeast - but these rarely meld...odd, but intriguing (also getting some toffee in there the more I sit with this). Flavor is brown sugar, caramelized malt, biscuit & yeast...finishes with a very strong candy sweetness. Palate is medium bodied - warming boozy finish, but remains a relatively easy drinker. Not half bad!

Appearance: Mahogany, almost opaque, with garnet notes. Huge pillowy light tan head, lasts an age. Aroma: Restrained floral hop aroma, dark fruits and licorice, yeasty fruitiness and boozy alcohol. Flavour: Malt sweetness up front, dark fruits or port flavours follow closely. Mouthfeel: Moderately high carbonation, medium to full bodied, nice yeasty slightly drying but long finish. Some alcohol warmth in the aftertaste. Overall: Very nice beer, I guess it’s the equivalent of a quad, and it certainly has the desired qualities.

It pours copper with bronze highlights; the head is light-beige and foamy. The aroma has notes of: charred wood, toffee, prunes, coriander seeds, and slight petrol. The taste is light sweet that finishes dry; there are notes of: prunes, toffee, wood, and liquorice. The palate is medium bodied, very low carbonation, slight stickiness, and a medium finish. Overall, the woodiness is a welcomed variance.

330ml bottle, 9% a/v Dark brown and slightly cloudy with a dense tan head. Aroma is malty, boozy and dark stone fruit with some chocolate hints too. Taste is malty and booze as well but quite rich and complex with dark fruity notes. The palate is fantastically clean, the carbonation higher than normal but perfectly balanced, and overall a decent brew.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a slightly hazy brown colour with a negligible amount of white head that dissipates quickly. Smell is sweet like brown sugar and caramel but also has some fruity characteristics and a bit of a biscuit hint. Palate is on the heavier side of medium bodied with good carbonation. Taste is very interesting, a bit of sweet and sour and bitter heat at first before having having a bit of a bitter crest and leaving a long lasting moderately sweet aftertaste. Very nice Belgian.
