Dark brownish red pour, very hazy. It’s almost an orange colour when help up to a light. Very small bubbles in the head. Nice lacing. Nose reminds me of something fruity. Plumb I think it is. Its kind of weak but really appealing once you catch it. Very full bodied. A touch thick. A bit of a quick attack to the mouth at first that fades quick. A surge of spice and carbonation. It’s like a quick bite or nip. Then that mellows out very slowly and pleasantly. It ends very dry and clean. A very enjoyable palate. What’ I can’t really tell you though is the flavours that are in there. It’s all very subtle. Cranberry at first? A burst of sweet tart, like the candy with a bit of bite, cinnamon? Then it just mellows out so nice. It’s not so much the taste changes but just mellows out. Really dig this. Wish I had bought more than 2.

On tap at Global Brew. Pours an opaque dark brown with a decent thin tan head. Aroma of dried dark fruit and cocoa. Taste comes through as prunes, raisins, coffee and cocoa. Good stuff.

Pours a milky brown. Sweet malty aroma. Highly carbonated, keeping the 1/4 inch head constant. Maybe a good dessert beer. Definitely needs food.

Pour is dark chocolate with a fast vanishing light brown head. Aroma is roasted and alcohol but is far more complex than my description. Taste is chocolate, roasted, maybe some licorice notes, alcohol flavor is present.
