4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
One of the best Belgians Iíve had this year. I really want to make a puny statement about some sort of goofy prediction of me liking this beer, but I fear itís been done many times over, and I would hate to be puny and trite. Anyway, the beer was delicious and I will probably try it out again soon.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
It has a smell of liquorice (typically Dutch/Belgian), the aroma of resin and caramal. Apperance is extremely cloudy with brown firm foam head that lasts (a bit like Guinness), a bit fizzy at the top. The taste is slightly salty in the finish, but sweet overall. The palate: a full syrupy body, moderately alcoholic.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle served in a Trappist glass. Pours a deep, dark brown colour with a moderate head. Tastes rich and elegant with hints of toffee and dried dark fruits. Mounthfeel is nicely balanced with the sweetish palate without any cloying stickiness. Overall very nice.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The Nostradamus is a really nice Belgian strong out of the bottle. Iím sure itís even better on draft. I found this bottle in the cooler at the Craft Ale House in Limerick, PA. The beer is true to the profile of a Belgian double or quad. It pours a dark brown color with a purplish hue. The head is very minimal and doesnít leave a whole lot of lacing around the glass. The nose is full of sweet malt, yeast, alcohol and dark fruits. The flavors are much of the same, with a really complex mouthfeel and finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a 300 ml bottle. Dark brown color with a light head. Beautiful strong aroma. A sweet honey taste that covers up the strong beer but at the end doesn?t leave much on the pallette. Good start, no finish.
