Bottle. Aroma is of yeast and fruit. Flavor is similar but also with caramel and spice. Doesnít have much of an alcohol burn that I would expect from something that tastes like this. I read a review that said it was "complex, yet boring". Thatís so completely apt. This was 5 bucks for a bottle, so Iíve got to say thereís no way Iíll be grabbing this again all things considered. But it does have a solid amount of alcohol (even if it couldíve been more)! And I still say itís actually very, very good! I just feel like maybe there was some lost potential here, shouldíve been a much bigger beer. 9% abv.

330mL bottle at the district. Pours a clear, very dark amber, and a big cap that settles to a skiff. Aroma of roasty caramel, booze, raisin. Taste is sweet. Medium-high carbonation. Sticky.

The Nostradamus is a really nice Belgian strong out of the bottle. Iím sure itís even better on draft. I found this bottle in the cooler at the Craft Ale House in Limerick, PA. The beer is true to the profile of a Belgian double or quad. It pours a dark brown color with a purplish hue. The head is very minimal and doesnít leave a whole lot of lacing around the glass. The nose is full of sweet malt, yeast, alcohol and dark fruits. The flavors are much of the same, with a really complex mouthfeel and finish.

Poured from a 300 ml bottle. Dark brown color with a light head. Beautiful strong aroma. A sweet honey taste that covers up the strong beer but at the end doesn?t leave much on the pallette. Good start, no finish.

Strong, malty, dark fruit, plums and alcohol. Nearly overly sweet, def a sipping brew. Very warming on the tongue. Spices in the middle are like cinnamon and nutmeg.

12 oz bottle. Pours a murky dark copper, with a typical massive Belgian light tan head. Fair lacing. Nose is sour dark fruit and Belgian yeast. Taste is very smooth, with slightly sweet sour dark fruit up front, and a slight tang on the finish. Delightful.
