Lys brun farge med hvitt tynt skum. Lukter gjær, sødme og krydder. Honning, sødme sitter igjen i smaken.

330ml Bottle - Amber with a slight haze and a small white head. Lemon, peach, yeast and a hint of spice in the aroma. Nicely balanced taste with a moderate sweetness and notes of peach, apricot, lemon and yoghurt. Tasty and easy to drink, especially when you consider how it’s 7.5%.

Pours hazy yellow-amber with a thin white head. Aroma is a bit fruity, some honey and spices. Taste is sour-sweet, fruity, yeasty with hints of some spice(s) I can’t really pick out. Finish is short and sweet. Medium carbonation with small, smooth bubbles, slightly oily. I liked this one, tasty, well balanced and very drinkable. Never would’ve guessed it’s actually 7.5% abv :o

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a massive white head with some yellow nuance, sinks slowly and leaves some lacings. Aroma is big, with citrus, orange, lemon, sweet notes, rosehip, slight yeast character. Taste is sourish fruity, even more so than the aroma, with a nicely balanced sweet tone to back it up, some soap and yeast hints. Slight bitterness in the end without losing its juiciness. Medium body, medium carbo, slight oily texture. Like drinking a carbonated orange/citrus soda with some deep character. Damn good. 7,5%? I would never have guessed at a blind sample.

Ktwse (2089) - SWEDEN - OCT 18, 2014
Pours hazy apricot with low white head. Aroma is kind of funky fruity, yeast and very ripe fruit but hard to pick out what. Taste is also kind of funky fruity, to be honest. An initial fairly overwhelming sweetness but with a very light tarty sour to balance it, only it doesn’t really work. Feels unbalanced and quite messy. Body is light to medium and smooth with soft carbonation.

@ Havregatan 141012. Bottle (330 ml) from Systembolaget (30:-). Fruity and yeasty with spicy notes, sweet, medium body with a watery to oily texture. The finish is dry, sweet and yeasty.

330ml brown bottle, poured into a Tulip glass. Appearance is cloudy straw colored with a medium sized frothy off-white head, that when reduced left no lacing. Aroma of lemon pledge, herbs and flora. Aroma of lemon zest, herbs and spices. Taste is medium-light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, soft texture and average carbonation. La Caracole Saxo Bio is unbalanced, too sweet for the flavour profile and the aroma is a bit artificial.

Pours a hazy dark golden body with a thin head. Unpleasent funky aroma. Fresh and stingy taste with interesting tones. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Organic version of Saxo, with creamy, snow white head and deep orangey golden blonde colour, hazy. Fruity and yeasty aroma, pear, pineapple, coriander, orange peel but lots of DMS (cooked cabbage) too; I tasted this at a ZBF festival and I have a suspicion it had been produced too quickly, hence this flaw. Fruity taste, malty, rounded palate, hints of caramel and bread, some spiciness and grassy hoppiness in the finish. A bit of a disappointment compared with the original. I have nothing against the concept of organic food and drink, au contraire, but when will I finally encounter a truly great organic beer? Apart from Saison Dupon Biologique, that is...
