2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 BlackHaddock (1674) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2012
Brown cork and caged 0.75 litre bottle, best before 12/2009, drank 01/2009.
Cloudy orange, lemony colour with a cream coloured head.
The smells were all about Belgian yeasts and citrus fruits all bundled together and given a big shake.
I found the taste and mouthfeel too fizzy and sour, the citrus element taking over to much. The alcohol is well hidden, but the carbonisation was too much for me.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 HopfenWeisse (247) - - APR 22, 2012
750ml bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour with 3 finger head. Aroma and flavour is really yeasty. Might try again.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 KnutAlbert (4555) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 18, 2012
Bottle.
Rich and aromatic. Honey, yeast, pleasant sourness, deceivingly light and easy drinking. Among the Duvel clones, this is one that is not far from the mark.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mile (1443) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 9, 2012
Bottle. Golden, hazy, average and fully diminishing head. Moderate to full, malty -wheaty and sweetish aroma, fruitiness and some honey, faint hoppyness. Body is medium, malty - wheat and sweetish flavor, fruitiness and some honey, faint hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - some wheat and sweetish, some fruitiness with honey, faint spiciness (pepper) and hoppyness. Fruity Belgian ale - too sweet for me.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Scrapersnbeer (433) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 3, 2012
Aroma of citrus, cider, and champagne yeast. Yellow gold with lots of activity and head. Flavor has some sweet, very dry white wine elements, with a decent bitter contrast. One of those beers that fall into the subset of strong blond ales. Too pricey for what it is.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 944play (314) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - MAR 12, 2012
Draft taster at Whole Foods Santa Rosa. Hazy gold with small fine head. Dry, woody aroma with lesser notes of lemon, pepper, and bile. Delicate malt rides a wave of pleasantly assertive bitterness. Finishes dry with a bent towards the acidic.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 IlBevitorediLA (206) - ITALY - MAR 10, 2012
Bella birra!
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 cesaro202 (14) - ITALY - MAR 7, 2012
Davvero molto buona e beverina.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 justm (163) - Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2012
Bottle at Belgo Centraal, London. Pours a cloudy gold/yellow with a billowing bright white head which thins rapidly. Light clove with a hint of wheat and coriander in the aroma. A little thin on the palate with a whisperingly soft carbonation. The taste has a light clove, vanilla whih swirls around with a resonating floral sweet bitterness. A delicious beer that pairs perfectly with smal cheese croquettes or mussels.
