Lots of perfume in this aroma. Smells like an airport duty free shop. Pours golden blond with fizzy head and minimal lacing. Finishes perfume sweet with touch of bitterness. Booze well hidden. A well-balanced beer that tastes remarkably light considering. Bottle from Spinnakers.

Hazy orange, amber hue, instantly gone big creamy white head, too bad.
Very sweet yeast nose, light apple pie, touch honey, esters, sweet spices and malts.
Sweet apple, yeast, esters, light floral, touch apples, honey, white bread, very light alcohol, sweet flowers, very light floral hops, bitter esters.
Creamy yeast, lightly fizzy.
Pretty standard sweeter Belgian Strong Ale but clearly above average. Very enjoyable & easy to drink.
(33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. BBF 2014 (month specified is “L” but no idea what that means.)

33cl bottle. Floral, herbs, sweet, fruit, apple in the aroma. Goldblond, sparkling, white lasting head. Fruity flavours, some herbs, bitterish. Short finish, a bitter hint. Fizzy.

Bouteille 330ml. De couleur jaune-dorée et voilée. Nez de levures fruitées (agrumes, léger d’abricots, notes de pêches et de bananes) et légèrement épicées (poivre, traces de coriandre), moyen de pain avec des notes d’alcool doux, de miel et de houblon floral et herbeux. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-élevé et une texture aux notes champenoises. Goût de levures fruitées (agrumes, léger de pommes, notes de pêches, traces de bananes) avec un léger goût épicé (poivre) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un léger goût de pain et de miel puis progressivement se rajoute et ce, jusqu’en finale un goût légèrement amer de houblon floral et herbeux, avec des notes d’alcool doux réchauffant. Post-goût moyen-long et sec, léger-moyen amer de levures fruitées (zeste d’agrumes, notes de pelures de pommes), de houblon floral et d’alcool doux des traces d’épices (poivre doux). (2006)

Mostly unclear (mostly) golden yellow, creamish white head slowly settles and lasts. Aroma of light sweet malt and fruity yeast. Spritzy on the tongue, earth and dirty yeast gives way to a sweet maltiness, soft fruitiness, floral and spice notes. Lively carbonation, light bodied for the style, low hopped. ABV very well hidden. Fruity dry finish. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Botella. Presencia limpia con corona blanca poco persistente. Aroma levaduras y malta típica belga. Sabor interesante dulce y ácido y bastante maltoso con final seco y dulce. Interesante acidez ligeramente achampanada en toda la boca. Postgusto largo seco y dulce

Bit spicier than Duvel. Stronger blond beer. Liked it, yet, only drink one at the time.

Aspetto giallo dorato, schiuma non molto fine ma presente e abb persistente, si nota una carbonazione importante. Aroma di furtta gialla, speziato, maltato non molto pulito. Palato che ritrova la frutta gialla con varie sfumature, ripulito da una corbonazione molto spinta, quasi eccessiva.

kind of stale aroma, not so nice. nice clear blond look with foamy white head. Taste is banana/mango sweet, real fruity.

Aromas of funky earth, golden raisins, and floral tones. Hazy golden, peach-like, with a fully lasting, pillowy, white head. Dry with subtle spice, and a slight, snappy tartness. Medium bodied, very smooth, and finishes clean with dry, fruity, and floral flavors.
