Review from notes at World of Beer - Fort Myers on 11/20/11.
Poured on draft into a tulip glass.
Appearance: Pours a medium honey gold with a 1 finger white head. Decent lacing.
Smell: Sweet Belgian yeast, floral notes, clove and a sweet fruitiness.
Taste: Sweet floral and lemon notes up front followed by Belgian yeast in the middle before ending with a touch of clove at the finish. Aftertaste is sweet with a touch of bitter hops.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a good amount of carbonation.
Drinkability: Good drinkability. The alcohol is well-masked.
Overall: Good beer overall. Definitely worth a shot.

330ml brown bottle. 7.5%abv on the label. BBD is 09/2011. Golden pour, fairly clear. Airy, bubbly white head which settles to a tight thin layer. Nose has honey sweetness and some yeast spiciness. In the mouth the beer has sweet malt, maybe wheat (?), yeast notes, mild tangy lemon notes. Finishes on the dry side, yeast notes. Big carbonation, tingly mouthfeel, body is medium. Nice.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a fair, bubbly white head. Aroma is of citrus, banana, Belgian yeast and caramel. Carbonated, lots of fruit, citrus, banana, caramel, honey and Belgian yeast. Very complex, thick and unique.
4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 hazewee (10) - Andenne, BELGIUM - JAN 26, 2012
This beer is sensational. Enjoyable and complex at the same time. Very flowery nose, palate is round and remains dry, texture is just perfect, finish is long and not overly spicy. This should be the archetype of a real Belgian Ale.

33cl bottle. Hazy orange/golden. Small white head. Nose : Caramel malts , some fruit aromas like pear. Pepper spice. Apricot notes. Sip : Sweet start with fruity aromas and some caramel background. Sweet finish with a bit hoppy balance. Very little sour yeast and esters. Cool sweet strong beer. That’s my last one thought.
