Bottle. Clear medium dark yellow color with a average frothy good lacing mostly lasting white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate, malty, hoppy, yeasty, roasted, citrus, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is lively to soft.

A dark yellow beer with a dense white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of yeast - just like a Belgian blonde should be. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of yeast and a slightly dry hoppy end. An OK beer - but nothing special.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2005 Re-rate - as I consider this a new version: (Bottle 75 cl) This beer used to be only 7,2% alc. vol. I bought this one at the brewery in a small town outside Dinant. A light, slightly hazy beer with a tall head. Extremely fruity and complex flavour, very soft and mild. Has some slightly wheaty touches, but I’m not sure if there’s actually wheat in this beer. 081104

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with an initial huge white head. Honey sweet, spiced and light floral aroma. Flavour is sweet. Light floral and spiced yeasty note. I don’t think the beer holds honey but it has those classic floral and spiced notes - I presume from the yeast. Very delicate. Light caramel malt base with a light dryness into the finish.

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour, mediumsized white creamy head, which disappears fast. Aroma of burnt rubber, wheat and fruity hops. Flavour is alcohol, fruit, wheat and some yeasty notes. Also strong plasticness. Long fruity aftertaste.

Bottle, 8%. Spicy, clovey aroma. Hazy yellow colour, big stable white head. The flavour is also distinctly clovey with a refreshing citric note. Ends with a little pepper and sweetness. Uncomplicated and refreshing.
