Troublette pours a hazy, golden hue with a thick, white head. The aroma is fruity, citrusy, and spicy, reminiscent of cloves. The flavor is light. You get the spicy citrus flavors with some wheat tones. The body is light with medium-high carbonation. This seems like it would be a good beer on a hot summer day.

Jul 26, 2008 Pours a very clear light yellow/orange with few bubbles and basically no head. Yeasty, cheesy, sour, tart, woody aroma with notes of lemon and coriander. Flavor is semi-sweet, some lemon zest bitterness, touch of barrel. Light flavors, mild tartness, the yeast flavor really seems to really kill some of the acidity, which is ironic. Very sessionable. Kind of a dull palate, carbonation isn’t particularly strong and its a tiny bit waxy.

Jul 21, 2008 Despite the Belgian wheat style, this beer tasted more like a Gueze. IT was very easy to drink with a sweet taste and light body and finished with a sour taste. Nothing overpowering.

Jul 20, 2008 Great summer thirst quencher. Refreshing sour quality.Aroma of citrus and herbs. Flavor flatlines a little while in the mouth then the sour, lemon rind, dry qualities come through.

Jul 18, 2008 Pour is a hazy-cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is a very nice lemon and spice with just enough clove. Flavor is decent with some citrus fruit and pepper with a slight hop at the end. A decent beer and especially good on a warm summer evening.
