Color marrón con corona inexistente. Aroma a dulces y levaduras.

Hazy dark amber color, the head has short retention time. The aroma is quite anonymous, there is some malt, caramel and yeast. The malt and caramel flavor are reasonably good, but the fermentation pushed to reach a rather high level has produced also some flavors of vegetables; good bitterness level.
Average beer, malty but not spectacular, and a bit too alcoholic.

750ml bottle @ Cervecería L´Europe, Madrid. Summer 2011. Sweet, candy and honey aromas. Pours amber colour, with nice white head, some persistance and some lacing. Medium body and low carbonation. Taste is sweet, honey, caramel, some herbal. Nice sweet finish. Enjoyable.

A very drinkable and belgian-influenced ale. Closer to a belgian ale than an amber though not as sticky as a barleywine. This is a well-made beer and one that you should seek out. Understated yet still 8%.

Bottle from bar in Valladolid. Amber colour, white head. Nose is malty, bit of caramel, . Flavour is caramel malts, bready, candy sugar, bit grassy, sour, fairly alcoholic. A bit harsh. Fairly dry and slightly alcoholic finish. Not impressed.

75cl bottle. Dark amber colour with a dense and off-white head with small bubbles, good lacing and low lasting. Aroma is malty, caramelish and vinous. Flavour is persistent caramelish, dense, bready, strong honey hints and slightly alcoholic, with a final with a decent duration and a malty and caramelish aftertaste. Carbonation is flat. Body is high. Texture is oily. Beer more next to a Barley Wine style than an Amber Ale.

Bottle shared with my brothers thanks to brian2d. Pours deep orange with a small white froth. Aroma is fruity and sweet nice fresh bouquet of sweet fruits a touch citric and a little herbal hops. Flavor is very sweet mild apple and citrus with a clear cinnamon note and a sweet breast finish. Lingers with some spice and herbal notes. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Interesting beer not quite as complex in flavor as I hoped but pretty nice
