Reddish, copper hue and hazy. Nicely served in English pint glass - good head retention. Hop nose - quite floral. Thin malt body. Nice bitterness, big hop flavour. Overall, a decent effort, if not spectacular for the style.

Lubiere (9430) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 1, 2008
A nice reddish amber ale witha thick light moka head. A nice fresh hops in aroma with light caramel malt. In mouth, a pleasant light IPA with British styled hops, but overall rather light and watery. On tap at brewery, mid Nov. 2006.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a dense and chalk white head. Light frity hops aroma. Flat fruity hops flavour, almost watery. Seems almost dead. Watery and slight dry finish.

Comments: Very dark and foamy, feeling English enough, yet sharply hopped and dry. Very cold service temperature! Cask-like palate, almost flat, yet tremendous head.

Draught at the brewpub, sold as Tostada
Hazy golden color. Light malt aroma. Quite fresh taste: imperfect version of a fruity Golden Ale from England; medium malt, but nice hops.

Bottled. Aroma is sweetish, floral and typical cascade hops. Hazy, orange color, off-white head, fair lace. Sweet, light bitter, very floral, grass finish. Light sticky start and dry finish.

Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2006
Draught in brewpub. Amber, hoppy, fruity and malty beer which is tasty and sociable without being all that exciting. Anywhere else and it’d be marked down more.

Nekronos (3603) - Xalapa, MEXICO - DEC 24, 2005
UPDATED: APR 30, 2006 Better in taste, very strong the hopy aroma, the flavor is a little biter, but is nice, still being a little soft. It is called in the bar "Tostada". And it is available.
Earlier Rating: 12/24/2005 Total Score: 3.2
God, nice natural flavor, but it was too flavorless, the name in the bar is "Rubia", not I.P.A., so, I do not know.
