Bottle @ home. Gushed slightly when I opened it. Clear golden yellow colour with a huge white head. Looks like it’ll be a carbo bomb. Smells malty, sweet, slightly like a pilsener.. Good smell for a blonde. Tastes sweet, malty, slightly hoppy and a hint of green twigs in the aftertaste. I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy drinking this one. Thin to medium body and the carbo is quite soft. Nice beer!

330 ml bottle. BB J/15. Tuulensuu, Tampere, Finland.
Golden colour with floaters and a small white head.
Plastics, glue and yeast in an offensive aroma.
The flavour is a bit more tolerable but only a bit. Glue, plastic, yeast and malt. Bad, very bad.

Blonde dorée trouble, dépôt en suspension, effervescence moyenne-forte, col blanc crémeux. Assez maltée, petite amertume, touches d’épices, assez sèche. Rien de neuf à l’horizon...

Shared a 33cl bottle from Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon. Pours a hazy yellow with a white persistent head. Aroma of hops and... almost nothing. Medium carbonation with light body. Flavourless. Boring!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Oxfam in Brussels. Hazy grapefruit body with medium head. Nose of citrus, hops, soapy and fruity. Taste also of fruits, grapefruit, some malts and gets spicier and soapier in the finish. Not great but underrated in my opinion.

So I bought this sweet little bottle in a supermarket in Rochefort, when we were on vacation there for a week. Having tried and enjoyed two other beers of this little brewery directly in Rochefort, I had quite some hopes into the others which we have bought and wanted them to bring home to Germany to enjoy them there. But what a fail. Well, not THAT really. It pours out quite pleasant: Hazy orange-amber colour, steady low head and medium body. Unfortunately there were quite some yeast pieces floating around and they layered at the very bottom. And already the direct nose out of the bottle was disgusting: Unwashed, sweaty feet. Urgh. Taste of sour hops, sour brown sugar, yoghurt, kefir, old and wrinkly lemons and old wheat. Hints of sour Belgian yeast. Since this beer truely is a Belgium blond and not a Lambic in any way, it is just way too sour ans unpleasant to drink. Didn’t enjoy it at all, but it was a little bit refreshing.

Bottle @ home. Slow gusher. Hazy orange color with some yeast residu floating in it, full sized white head. Smell malts and a bit herbal with some yeast. Taste malts, yeast, herbs, some sweetness and a slight herbal bitterness. Medium body, low to medium carbonation.
