The most notable thing about this was the aromatic aftertaste, which I really enjoyed.

bottle labeled 09.2011. A: citrusy, some burnt caramel / roastiness App : clear dark copper color with lasting white head with good lacing . T/P : body is medium finish is bitter and is medium long. The more you drink it, it gets less bitter you switch to a dry finish. The kind you would get from the usage of roasted malt. Average carbonation O : Good like the "dry" finish on that beer and the bitterness. If I had to change a thing I would put more emphasis on aroma hops.

pours hazy golden-orange with a nice white head, some retention and lacing. fresh spicy malts and hops - peppery orange blossom water, hint of toastiness, leafy-grassiness for a short but assertive finish. floral notes. average carbonation, light body - somewhat almost a watery mouthfeel. not an amber fan, but i enjoy the freshness and spiciness in this one.

My Bottom Line:
Earth-covered pine needles dominate the orangey fruitiness in this lean and frothy hoppy quencher.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-There are lots of yeast chunks swirling under the sticky layer of foam, somewhat bothering the cloudy dark amber’s potential.
-This beer’s effervescence is almost Belgian-like, or above 3.0, if you prefer.
-The hop personality is much like a northerly forest floor; earthy, coniferous, a tad leafy and a bit humid as well.
-The decent bitterness is rather resinous, adding some character to the ending dryness.
-The malt structure could be improved here; as is, it does not offer much mroe than light caramel. There are some watery passages as well.
-There are yeasty proclivities throughout.

Bottles; merci Louis!

Bottle: Poured a deep hazy amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramel malt with light toffee. Taste is also dominated by some caramel malt with light toffee notes and a dry finish that is not as hoppy as I had expected. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Well done for style that is not the most exciting.

Pours a cloudy yellow amber with a big frothy white head. Aroma is malt and hop, with slight floral. Taste is mainly malt and a mild hoppiness. Slight smoke in the aftertaste with a floral mix. Interesting beer.

Light hazy light amber coloured beer with little carbonation and a very large white head. Clear hoppy hinted aroma. Full light sprankling hoppy palate. Finish is dry, hoppy, hints of hopflowers with a long bitter ending. not bad.
