Flavor of earthy malt and mild hops, there’s mild bitterness in the end. Decent. Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 25, 2009 Clearish amber ale wearing a light 1cm head. While not the most complex offering, this is one that does the refreshment job with cleanliness. Its grainy, cerealic malt background is built on a minerally basis and supports a flowery, leafy soft hoppiness. Medium-bodied, rather thick for its kind and engagingly carbonated. Good.

TaktikMTL (2798), Montréal-Nord, Quebec, Canada

This humble Amber Ale quietly proposes caramelized cereals and fruity esters to quench one’s thirst for a lean and clean session brew.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the hazy amber.
-Aroma is very shy; a few toasted malts, but you have to inhale quite a lot of air to get to this cereal character.
-There is not much hoppiness to be tasted here, but it doesn’t bother the flavor profile that much. This is very delicate throughout.
-The finish is rather forgettable, a simple fading out of the flavor profile.
On tap at the brewpub.
