Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a big frothy white head. Aroma is stinging yeast and wheat malt. Perhaps a touch of infection? Taste is light and citrusy with mild hop bitterness. Yeast and wheat round it out with a small aftertaste of sourness.

[4323-20120309] 500mL bottle. Light toasted floral metallic grains aroma. Hazy, amber orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Floral grainy flavour has a lingering cardboardy yeasty fruit base. Medium body. Meh. (5/3/5/3/9) 2.5

Bottle [500ml] shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. March 9. Pours a murky orange-amber with an average size diminishing fizzy white head. Aroma of malt, ginger, light spices, herbs, paper and grain. Malty flavour along with light hops, ginger, herbs and grain. Average bodied. Its O.K., better then some other La Chouape beers.

2012-03-09. Hazy dark orange, small white head. 3+ Mild aroma, muted vegetation, fruit and green hops. 6+ Flavour is similar, light green vegetation. Average palate. Some okay hops, but not as complex or flavourful as I had hoped, a bit muddled. Okay. Bottle via trade with Slovak Sniper

Bottle: Poured a hazy deep beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of fresh cereal notes with great floral hoppy aroma. Taste is a mix between some super fresh and somewhat floral cereal notes with some super floral green hops notes. Body is quite full with limited filtration and good carbonation. This was a surprising hit with loads of nice aroma and fresh cereal notes.

Bottle - 500ml. Cloudy golden/orange body with a decent white frothy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with grainy and herbal hints. Its robust hoppy taste carries grainy, piney, and coriander notes. Ends with a sharp, dry bitter finish. Good example of Harvest Ale.

Bottle. Red copper pour with no head. Aroma of corn syrup, tomatoes, cooked vegetables and grass. Tastes very sweet, no fresh hops to be found, way too sweet. Sticky, lightly carbed palate, dull. Sweet and generally quite unappealing - completely flawed. One more for the drain...
