Pours a cloudy pale amber color with a medium white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, slightly resinous hops and caramel. Good flavor of tropical fruits, resinous hops and caramel malt with a sweet, moderately bitter finish. The body is full with an oily texture and soft carbonation. It’s a bit too sweet and the hops are a tad too mellow for my tastes, but it’s still an interesting beer, if not a great IPA.

My Bottom Line :
Vivacious pine-y resins grace this soft and silky IPA, as toasted malt undercurrents and a moderate flavor intensity help drinkability greatly.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam laces around the amber haze.
-This IPA has none of the citrusy notes associated with the style. They simply should not have indicated "American IPA" on the side label.
-This is not nearly as intense as the average American IPA. But it’s much more drinkable!
-A soft caramel base balances out the wooden hop presence.
-The mouthfeel is quite polished; one of this brew’s best features.
-There are no Québécois malt angles here (which is not a problem at all, mind you).
-If this were 1% alcohol lower, I would love to spend an evening with this brew. At over 6% though, it’s hard to session with it.

Bottle.

Very nice subtle IPA. As others have commented the malt is a bit sweet. But very nice subtle hop bitterness. A quite well done IPA, not a classic but a good solid IPA. Might not be a favourite for hopheads (of which I have to admit I am one) but really can not fault the subtle bitterness of this beer.

Bouteille 500ml. Bonne IPA made in quebec!

Bouteille 500ml.

Bottle - 500ml. Hazy amber body with a thin white creamy head. fresh hoppy aroma with melon and grapefruit hints. Its sharp hoppy taste hides the alcohol pretty well and carries grainy, woody notes. Ends with a good bitter finish. Enjoyable IPA, but rather expensive.

Bottle, 500 ml, 5,39$. Beautiful creamy lasting white head covers a slightly shady amber colored beer. Aroma reveals some fruits from the hops. The texture is almost velvety and, thus, very pleasant. The flavors are a little too sweet to me, and the hops, piny, resinous and a little citrusy, are not sharp enough to really cut through the sweetness. Decent although rather expensive, but it won’t become a regular for me.

Beautiful opaque effervescent amber covered by a creamy, dense styrofoam white head that lasts forever, constantly renewed by active carbonation. Upon smelling, we’re greeted by leafy, floral and gently grapefruity hops, well mellowed and balanced by well extracted malt flavours. Malt forward IPA with biscuity and thick breadiness. Deliciously engaging expanding carbonation, accentuating both the citric acidity and the dryness. Mineral, almost salty finish. I really dig the texture and appearance and find the cereals well extracted and characterful. It does not meet my idea of a great IPA, those I prefer dry and very aromatic - definitely not the case here, but I found it engaging and very well balanced.
