Fairly boring brew. Pour a dirty brown with a slightly off white head. Aroma is faint malt and caramel. Taste is again fairly boring, mostly malt and caramel. Some spices.

Aroma : Smell is quite fruity with a good sweet malt backbone. Smell is the best part of this brew. Appearance : Dark red, ruby ale with an inch or so of off-white foam that lasts for a little while and leaves no lacing. Taste : A bit of roasty, burnt caramel. Still, a bit of fruits. The hops are too much upfront and don’t feet so well. Herbal hops. Mouthfeel : Too thin. Little carbonation. Much less than expected. Overall : Typical amber ale with too much hops and some roastyness that doesn’t belong. Boring.

pours dark red with a titanic creamy head. Aroma is hops, dried fruit and yeast. mouthfeel is dry. flavor is an odd blend of overripe fruit sweetness and bitter bite without the body to back up either. Finishes dry and warming.

A hazed reddish brown ale with a thick creamy dark moka head. A nice aroma of caramel malts, overlayed with fine herbaceous hops. In mouth, a super grainy caramel malt with light coffee grinds, some nice British hops, very smooth and balanced. A nice nutty rousse indeed. 500 mL bottle from Omni/Jovi, 4.49$.

Bottle. Hazy amber with a thick and dense foamy off white head showing good retention and minimal lacing. Earthy aroma with caramel, biscuits and floral hops. Flavor is caramel, fruits, floral hops and malt. Sweet and slightly bitter aftertaste. Thin to medium body.

500 ml bottle from Marche Jovi, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Deep copper with a decent light tan foam. Aroma: Some lightly fruity caramel, a touch earthy and nutty, toast/biscuit, some light yeast notes. Palate: Medium body, fairly full but reasonably soft effervescence. Flav.: Much like the nose with earthy, nutty caramel, lighter fruit notes, a bit of leafy hops, quite British; dry slight bitterness and a pleasant malty finish.

My first from this brewer. Not bad.

Bottle - 500ml. Cloudy brown body with rusty glints and a decent beige frothy head. Enjoyable malty/hoppy aroma with brown sugar, caramel, and oaky hints. Its sharp hoppy taste is slightly misbalanced and carries some piney/oaky notes. Finish is a bit harsh. Honest effort.

Belle couleur rousse. Bon parfum de fleurs. Un doux goût avec une fin d’amertume. Moins acre lorsque la lie est mélée.

500 ml. Notes fruitées et sucrées mais trop peu houblonnée... Inintéressante rousse.

Bouteille 500ml. De couleur ambrée très foncée et voilée. Nez malté de caramel, léger de grains rôtis, de houblon herbeux (herbes fraîches) aux petites notes résineuses et avec des notes de noix et des traces de fruits (fraises). Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-bas et une texture moyennement crémeuse. Petites notes de fruits (fraises, traces de mangues) accompagné d’un léger goût de noix lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute rapidement un goût de grains de malt caramélisés sucrés et aux notes grillées ainsi que des traces de pain puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume de houblon herbeux (herbes mouillées) un peu asséchante et aux faibles notes résineuses et terreuses. Post-goût moyen et aux notes sèches, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux et léger de rôt ainsi que des traces de noix.
