Rather dry but still smooth beer. Very drinkable and not too heavy on the alcohol.

pours light and cloudy-yellow with large head. aromas of citrus and strong fruit. very light-bodied and minimal mouthfeel considering the style. some banana and orange on the palate, but, overall taste is a bit disappointing.

This beer pours a cloudy yellow with a medium head. The aromas are bananas and other citrus. Flavor is bread, citrus and belgian sugars. Cheers!

Banana and citrus peel are definitely the defining flavors of this beer. A fantastic ale that you could actually session on. Poured from a 750ml bomber; it’s very highly carbonated. It pours a huge head compared to most. Golden-amber in color. Citrus peel and spices all the way through!

In Bottiglia. Colore dorato, schiuma compatta. Profumo di lievito e speziato. Al palato è piacevole, caramellosa, avvolgente e pulita in chiusura. Nonostante la caduta di qualità degli ultimi anni rimane sempre un must.

earthy, much fermentation/carbonation, a hint of spice and citrus make for a refreshing Belgian Golden ale

Aroma of banana, clove, and faint hops. Pours a yellow orange haze. Some life. Medium head with lacing. Creamy taste, nice carbonation level. Banana and clove are well balanced by the bitters and carbonation. Nice thick body. Cannot go wrong with the Chouffes.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy, coppery golden color with a small white head. Hoppy spicy fruity aroma that lies somewhere between a triple and a blonde beer. Very lovely complex fruity spicy flavor, mostly bitter and slightly sweet. One of my first specialties, and still an all-time favorite.
