Apr 26, 2009 Pours with a diminishing white head over a honey coloured clear beer. Smells of spices and honey. Finishes with a neutral-sweetish honey-spice finish. A nice beer.

Apr 24, 2009 750mL pours cocoa brown with nice tan head. nice looking brew. aroma is spicy with yeast and some mellow fruit comes through, banana peach. mouthful is full with spice and some sweet roasted malt. finish is crisp. great BSA!

Apr 24, 2009 Pours a hazy golden with rocky white head (surely unfiltered and bottle conditioned). Very active carbonation, lot of bubbles with different size, and velocity.
Fresh fruity and spicy aroma with bananas, wheat, coriander and maybe some pear cider notes. Balanced spicy mouthfeel with coriander, pears, apples. Slightly hoppy, rather clove kinda dry finish. Very easy bodied despite the 8%ABV. Smooth oily texture with lively carbonation. Refreshing Strong Ale.

on tap: a very good refreshing beer, dense head, aroma coriander, hop. Visting the brewerry is a recommendation.
I Also have drunk it on tap, have to say this is even nicier than in bottle. Widely available around Houffalize

Apr 23, 2009 Beautiful BSA that’s full of that fantastic crispness CHOUFFE has in all of their beers. I’m loving the Chouffe lately because of this. Many complex sugars roaming around in this flavor bounty. Corriander, orange peel, sugar, brown sugar, cherries, taffee sugar, toffee sugar. Beautiful.

Apr 20, 2009 Pours a hazy super large, clogged particulated glass of yeast mixed in with the golden color you try to see. This is far the most and largest particulated brew I have come across. It made my girlfriend and little nervous, haha. Nose is straight up banana, touch of fruits, clove, yeast, corriander, spice. Initial taste is fruity hinting the banana from the nose but also demonstrating spice gives the beer a good balance. Finishing good hop character. Light to medium body. Average palate duration. Above average head retention.

Apr 18, 2009 2008 collectors 1.5ltr bottle. aroma is sweet malts, Belgian sugar, coriander, pine. drinks smooth and sweet upfront with some hops peaking out through the front and with a nice sweet/spicy/alcohol "warming" coming through the middle and finishes out with a nice sugary sweetness that has just a bit of a spice bite. after taste is sweet/spicy and lingers only a few minutes, but is very tasty. i’d recommend getting another bottle
