Rich on the tongue, malty and the hops seem like they could be aged so little aroma, but some flavor. I’d love to have one of these every night. gte620v (29), Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 10, 2009 750ml bottle. pretty good stuff. lacks the kick in carbonation of duvel, which i prefer. otherwise, the brew can be characterized as a prototypical golden belgian ale. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 8, 2009 With a taste and smell of old and stinky cheese, this beer should not impress anyone who is not french. It has a little sour sting and ends very dry. Nothing about this is pleasant, the worst part being a bottle that reads "called the ’small stupid bottle’ in honor of the many Americans that purchase it."
