Hazy straw color leaving nice white lacing. Fruity and yeasty (typical Belgian) aroma. Rich on the tongue, malty and the hops seem like they could be aged so little aroma, but some flavor. I’d love to have one of these every night.

750ml bottle. pretty good stuff. lacks the kick in carbonation of duvel, which i prefer. otherwise, the brew can be characterized as a prototypical golden belgian ale.

Poured beautifully. Color of orange marmalade. Pillowly, dense head. Aesthetically pleasing. Great apricot nose with spiced citrus flavors. Delicious...well-balanced alcohol, lovely carbonation, a joy to behold.

Bottle. Pours gold with a very soap foam head, Smells faintly like fruit and hops. Tastes like alot of fermented light fruits and some hops. Very good.

With a taste and smell of old and stinky cheese, this beer should not impress anyone who is not french. It has a little sour sting and ends very dry. Nothing about this is pleasant, the worst part being a bottle that reads "called the ’small stupid bottle’ in honor of the many Americans that purchase it." Screw La Chouffe.
