I’m not a big belgian fan, but I quite liked this beer. Golden, crystal clear colour witha good fluffy head. Aroma had lots of peach and floral notes which was quite pleasant. A very smooth palate not dominated by alcohol or too many ester characters which I think is what I don’t like in many Belgian beers. Overall, a beer that I would happily drink again.

11.2oz bottle in a tulip. Pours deep, opaque golden with thick, lingering, white head. Aroma strong of spice, light hops, and a little caramel malts. Flavor of a strong, spicy Belgian ale with a little more hops than a lot of beers from this country. Average to silky texture. A very good beer.

330mL bottle, pours pale golden orange. Aroma of yeast, orange zest and tropical fruits. Flavour is surprisingly dominated by black pepper, with coriander and citrus thrown into the mix. Decent, though I’m not a fan of the pepper.

Bottle shared with the wife. Smells a bit off, like a pils, but the flavor/spices makes it lean towards a Belgian ale.

This one is hugely fruity. Light straw coloured pour with a big, fluffy (but held together quite well) head. Aroma is light biscuity malts, citrus hops, sweet fruits, honey. Flavour is prominantly sweet fruits and citrus hops. Far too easy to drink for an 8 percenter. Bloody great !
