Bottle. Poured a hazy amber-orange that had floating particles of yeast with an average sized white creamy head that almost lasted throughout and had good lacing. The aroma was light of a staw like malt, grassy hops and a sweet doughy yeast with notes of orange, pineapple and corriander with a slight hint of alcohol. It tasted very lightly sweet at first and then had a light bitter fruity flavor with a hints of spices and alcohol at the finish with the flavor lasting an average amount of time. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a very soft carbonation. Overall a nice and tasty Belguim Ale that is quite drinkable.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2011 On tap at House of Beer, Bratislava. Dark golden color with nice thick white head. Spicy aroma, with hints of oranges. Taste, malt, caramel, red fruit. Bittersweet finish. Drinkable beer.

another very interesting Belgian beer, amber color and very bitter taste. Feels very natural (and probably is).

I’m transferring ratings from another beer app to this one. My tasting notes wouldn’t be accurate at this point since they weren’t captured at the time.

Golden Belgian Ale with a spicy aroma and taste. My regards to this small, experimential brewer (now Duvel).

Bouteille de 750ml, capsule de métal. Bière dorée translucide et claire, une fine couche de mousse blanche apparait. Elle est durable. Nez invitant de levure, de houblon et d’épices. En bouche la bière est quelque peu sucrée, l’effervescence est marqué. Elle se boit presque seule, les 8 dégrées ne sont pas apparents. La finale est marqué par la levure et les épices.
