750 ml bottle poured and shared with friend Alex. Pours a murky yellow with a huge head which left tons of lacing. First impression is of green apples, pears, bananas and the Belgium yeasts. Spicy fruity slightly sour tastes. Finishes refreshingly dry and crisp. Alcohol is well hidden. Very nice!

750 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a cloudy orangey gold with lots of steady bubbles and moderate-sized white head. Aroma of sour apple/pear, lots of spice and yeast. Taste is yeasty with spice/pepper and a modest, somewhat sour fruitiness. Alcohol is not very apparent. Active carbonation. Fairly impressive.

Date: 3/7/2010 Source:Other Richmond Beer Dig. Big Chouf 2008. Lightly fruity with some graininess in aroma. Cloudy orange golden with little head. Flavor has lightly spicy yeast character and some fruitiness. Finish is dry and spicy.

Pours a cloudy honey color with a thick two-finger white head. Retention and lacing are excellent. Aroma is very subtle with citrus notes and a faint sugary smell. Taste imparts an understated hint of banana with prominent citrus notes. Coriander is distinctly present.
The beer is very refreshing with medium to high carbonation. I would very strongly recommend this beer to anyone.

Tap at Pap. Pours a nice golden color with floaties. Sweet and fruity aroma with yeast and malt. Sweet, fruity, yeasty flavor with a touch of bitterness on the finish. Good stuff.

Közepesen sötét árnyalatú arany szín, nagy és kitartó tört fehér habbal. Illata jó fűszeres, korianderes és vaníliás főleg, összességében amolyan pikánsan édeskés. Telt, összetett ízére is a fűszeresség jellemző leginkább, nagyon finoman bizsergeti nyelvünket, játszik az ízlelőbimbókkal, van még benne egy kis malátás-mézes édesség, és virágos komló. Lecsengése keserédes, rendesen érezni az alkoholt is, felmelegít minden fázó-bús lelket. Ezeket a törpéket illik komolyan venni, ez a nagy igazság...

330 ml bottle in Germany. Golden color, nice white head with good lacing. Aroma of bitter orange and hops. well-balanced flavor of citrus and hops witha wheat and malt undertone. clean Palate with a little bitterness in a good way. This beer seemed to get worse as I drank it.
