3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 kerolasa (353) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 24, 2010
Blurry orange drink. There’s not whole lot of smell. Taste is sweet, and clearly strong in alcohol. There’s a bit more carbonation than I expected, but I do like it.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bortology (33) - Ontario, CANADA - DEC 21, 2010
Strong Belgian beer, with spicy notes.
Unfiltered, and it shows.... lots of things floating.
This beer is a good beer. The biggest downside is the price.

Mi ero dimenticato di votarla: un classicone delle belgian blonde, con questa birra si va sempre sul sicuro. dolce ma non troppo, speziatina quanto basta, amara il giusto: la normalità fatta belga.

from a 750. Remember the first time I had this, on tap in amsterdam, and loving it. Have drank multiple times since, one of my favorite belgian strongs, finally getting around to writing some notes on it. Pours beautiful cloudy light orange color, with big white fluffy head. My trappist glass was in the wash but this pinot noir glass actually works quite nicely for the beer. Aroma is light, inviting, but flavorful, honey, rich wheat cream, light spices, light vanilla and banana. Crisp, refreshing, smooth, focused palate makes this drink like a thicker hoegaarden or something; that is to say, it is dangerously drinkable and the 8% completely disguised. Flavor is spiced wheat, but fresh tasing, with vanilla, creme brulee / burnt sugar, and light fruity tones on the finish, perhaps honey glazed pear. One of the best, most classic belgian sessions on the market. Will always be a personal favorite of mine.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 wilderthanyou (587) - Guelph, CANADA - DEC 17, 2010
Enh, It’s not bad, it’s decent enough. Mine was skunked a little, shoulda put it in a brown bottle guys. The aroma, like i said, some skunk, but there are your standard yeasty notes, breads, florals, and maybe some citrus notes. The flavour is sweet, bitter, lemon, candy, a musky sweetness lingers in the finish, it’s pretty good actually, as I drink it I become more fond of it.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 auderale (591) - Bitburg, GERMANY - DEC 15, 2010
Bottle: Orangish colored pour with medium sized white head. Sweet, fruity, citrusy aroma. Spicy, dry, slightly sweet finish. Definitely drinkable.

Sampled from a 750ml bottle, I love samples this size. Pours a very light almost golden yellow, small white head that diminished rather fast. Very enjoyable flavor of sweet hops. A treat to have.
