Pleasant, slightly fruity aroma. Beautiful straw color with a dense head. Flavor is mild malt, little hop, slight citrus with some spice. Fresh on the palate. I found it to be a pleasant balanced beer in the Belgian style. I might classify it as a Saison rather than a Strong Ale. I might compare it to Ommegang Hennepin Ale.

Served on draft at Caliente in Richmond, VA, 4/18/10. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized tight creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Looks Trappist. The aroma is yeasty and fruity with notes of citrus and peach along with some caramel. The taste is fairly dry with notes of caramel, bready malts, banana, apple, yeast and bubblegum. Medium-full bodied. Tasty beer.

From tap@some Cafè in Amsterdam. Big stable white head. Shiny orangey golden body with slight haze. Aroma of fresh yeast, spicy and bubble-gum fruity. Swittish wheaty malt flavor. Well spiced, with notes of acidulous and light sourish fruits. A certain astringency on the palate. Spiced, dry/sweet fruit finish.
