Pours a golden red color with large off-white head. Lots of chunky floaters. Sweet candy, light fruit, citrus, banana, and spice in the nose. Same goes for the flavor except more orange and herb notes. Another tasty beer from d’Achouffe.

Bottle at wine frig temperature. Spicey aroma of light stone fruits, yeast and cardamom. Orange tinged golden color, tiny bubbles, and a white head that quickly flattened. Medium bodied with spritely carbonation. The flavor is pale malt accompanied by citrus notes and something slightly woody. The finish is dry, and something herby, wood, or phenolic tends to build with time (could be that menthol or resin others refer to, but not at all strongly aromatic). The flavor seems to go a little earthy after awhile, with hints of anise coming out.

Appearance: amber golden color. Active bubbles, great head, rocky and very persistent. Beautiful. Aroma: soft toasty malty smells. Intensive coriander smells, parsley, herby, floral and grassy. Some reminiscences of chamomile. Citric-fruity like grapefruit and orange. Hoppy some mentholated, citric and herby. Flavor: herby start, like the aroma the coriander is intensive. Hoopy herbal, a nice “vegetable-touch”. Malty underground that contribute sweetness. Spicy. Slight citric fruity like lemonade, grapefruits and orange. Herby and floral finish, with strong taste of coriander and hops, slightly resinous and citric. Reminiscences of celery and green tea. Peel grapefruits aftertaste. Liquory with reminiscences of digestive liquor. Palate: medium body, velvety texture. Medium carbonation. Exquisite and complex beer. Pours a hazy orange/amber color with lively bubbles. Head is big white, frothy and mostly lasting. Aroma is very spicy, yeasty with sweet malts underneath. Clear notes of coriander, cardamom, orange peel, aniseed, tangerines and cantaloup. Powerful. Flavor is sweet, fruity and multi-dimensional. It has a background of herbal tea and grains and a solid front of camomille, oranges, spices, honey and palm syrup. Intense and delicious stuff. Medium body, very smooth and fullfilling. It gives a warming sensation. Carbonation is soft and the alcohol is there in the right amount. It finishes with a high note of malt and leaves a wonderful aftertaste. Fantastic beer.

Pours a glowing amber beer. Huge violent foaming head. Nose of melon, lemon and grapfruit. Taste is orange and malt with some yeast. Very light body like champagne. A wickedly dry finish a truly good beer.
