Bottle at the Dilly Deli. Light, grassy, herbal, bready with some yeast and a little spice in the finish. A delightfully refreshing and easy drinking Belgian. The alcohol is completely hidden. The body is lighter than I would have thought, but the flavor of course is very good.

Slightly hazy gold color with a massive bright white head, a little creamy in texture. The nose is fruity and sweet, with a lemon-lime crispness. Finish is biting in its acidity, the hops perfect in their spiciness, quite dry and long lasting aftertaste. Goes well with Shanghai savoury dumplings.

Draught. Golden, off white head. Plenty off yeasty, fruity aromas along with some malts and grain and a little lime. Flavour just adds up nicely the aroma with some vanilla, bready notes as well.

75cl bottle at home. cloudy orange, smooth offwhite head. flowery yellow fruity aroma, mild spicy, coriander?, very smooth and fresh aroma. flavor is yellow fruity, dry, slightly spicy , rather well balanced, perhaps a little too bitter from spices or alc., faint flowery hops as also was in aroma. pleasant flavor, close to an 8.

from tap after visiting the brewery. When you see the very big factory you expect a very artificial beer. But I’m happy it’s not like that! Golden colour with nice white head. Smell: grainy and fruity. Taste: nice balanced spices, grainy, malty, yeasty and a bit bitter. Very Nice one!

From tap, after visit of the brewery of Achouffe ;-) Blonde to golden light hazy beer with a medium white head that disappears in the end. A smell of spices, grains and hops. The taste is grainy, hoppy, malty and spicy with a small dry finish. Soft mouthfeel, and although some light bitterness not sharp at all in the mouth. I like more the stronger and more bitter ’Houblon Dobbelen IPA Tripel’’. Note: quite similar to the "Lupulus", but in my opinion the Lupulus is overall a better beer with some more finesse.

750 ml bottle at Svenska Pubben. A hazy yellow colour with abundant white head. Flowery, fruity, spicy aroma. Coriander and other spices as well as malt in the taste. Finishes quite dry. I am absolutely going to drink this again.

Bottle. Was once one of my favorite beers, but the change of ownership has affected the product. The beer was still spicy and hoppy, but the wonderful sweetness that used to balance the beer was missing. the lingering hops in the finish was also very harsh and edgy. I dont know if they have cut the maturation time, but this could indicate that. The bottle i got wasnt bottle conditioned like it used to be, there was no yeast residue, again this could be the reason for the harshness of the beer.
