| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 17, 2007 NorCal tasting Jul 07 - The beer pours out a touch hazy golden color with a huge fluffy white head with smally, compact bubbles. Aroma that first hit me was orangy spices with a helping dose of ginger and honey. Very nice nose. The beer has a fantastic flavor of well with an interesting subtle barnyardyness to it, fruity with a dried apricot flavor, malty sweet, peppery with a fantastic lingering finish. thenick (744), North Bellmore, New York, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy and sparkling orange with a large foamy white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is heavy malt (straw, hay, bread), average hops (herbs, flowers), heavy yeast (barnyard, earth) with notes of pear and apple. Full bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation and an astringent finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness. Wobbler (46), Ireland
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 13, 2007 Had this in a pint glass(!) in the Porterhouse in Dublin. Thought the glass was inappropriate and made the beer look like any pale lager. A sniff soon changed that though. Loads of fruit and spice on the nose. Packed full of flavour and dangerouly drinkable. I loved it.
