Scauca (408), Lovere, Italy Mar 21, 2007 This is indeed a very good beer, just a bit too sweet in the finish for me. Very spicy, fruity, very carbonated. Non-pasteurization gives it a wonderful natural evoluting taste and aroma. Taste it with a t-bone steak!! LadyCooper (100), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Mar 13, 2007 Pours a hazy golden-amber with a creamy white head. Citrus aroma with a bit of yeast. Flavours of hops and spices (coriander?), with a yeast finish. No hint of alcohol warmth at the end, even though it sits at a cheery 8%. Really tasty, very unique, this is a lovely complex beer. HenrikSoegaard (4260), Randers, Denmark Mar 13, 2007 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Fantastic floral/orange aroma. Nice complex bitter flavor. Long finish. Oily palate. Really great stuff. hapjydeuce (763), Del Mar, California, USA Mar 9, 2007 Updated: Nov 20, 2008Pours with a rich vanilla-colored head, with a warming citrus aroma. Light bronze color with a hazy body. Good carbonation, but finishes subtle on the palate. Flavors of apricot and spicy malts, with a refreshing dose of skunky Saaz hops. The sweet and malty banana and pear notes underneath maintain the beer’s tripel-style base; rounding out the body. Very tasty. joergen (8429), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 9, 2007 Bottle.
Cloudy amber coloured with a creamy white head.
Aroma of fruits with notes of yeast and spices.
Flavour of fruits, yeast and spices with flowery notes.
Not very exciting. rmussman (905), California, USA Mar 1, 2007 The most faboulous thing about this brew is its head, when poured correctly it is strong and flavorful. The beer itself is nice and tasteful. I recommend this beer strongly. jefcon (997), Arlington, Virginia, USA Feb 28, 2007 Light and golden in the glass with a long-lingering white head. Plenty of lacing. Crisp carbonation caries fruit to the nose. Peach/apricot/yeasty aromas and similar flavors which are balanced by sweet caramel malts. Malty finish suggests darker fruits.
