jefcon (997), Arlington, Virginia, USA Feb 28, 2007 Light and golden in the glass with a long-lingering white head. Plenty of lacing. Crisp carbonation caries fruit to the nose. Peach/apricot/yeasty aromas and similar flavors which are balanced by sweet caramel malts. Malty finish suggests darker fruits. BelgianBeerGal (1275), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Feb 27, 2007 75cL bottle. Another excellent beer from Achouffe. Recommend trying it. A top notch, well-finished belgian strong ale. Beltramelli (471), Campinas, Brazil Feb 26, 2007 Updated: Mar 5, 2007Floral and fruity. Golden muddy coloration. Excellent aroma. Harmonious. Well balanced. Dense cream. Excellent beer. jalichio999 (502), Brazil Feb 25, 2007 Updated: Mar 8, 2007Bottle. Citric, floral and clove notes. Golden muddy coloration. It has a dust in the deep of the cup. High carbonation. Good cream. The aroma is better than the taste. Imperceptible alcohol. reakt (938), Greater London, England Feb 25, 2007 Updated: Sep 2, 2007Cask at Lowlander. Golden with a short lived white head - nice lace though. Hoppy honey aroma. Taste of orange and honey with a syrupy mouthfeel. Long, slightly bitter orange zest finish. Tastey! ekstedt (2411), Göteborg, Sweden Feb 24, 2007 Updated: Mar 22, 2007Bottle. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy, and with some yeast particles floating around which lowers the visual impression a bit. Very earthy, spicy, and yeasty aroma, with notes of grassy hops and some bready malt. Nice and smooth mouthfeel. Very dry and pleasant finish. sliffy (1966), Columbus, Ohio, USA Feb 21, 2007 Bottle: Slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head. Aroma, spices, yeast, some floral hops. Flavor, pale malts, some bready notes, spices, and a light floral bitterness to it. Pretty solid brew. coldbrewky (716), Saugerties, New York, USA Feb 20, 2007 I’m not certain why it has taken me so long to try this beer. Pours a hazy golden with a fair amount of flotsam. Steady off white head that has steady centralized carbonation. Hints of allspice and corriander in the nose. Rolling smooth rounded sweet caramelly body and finish with a smatter of hops and honey. Dont blink, its pretty quick. Nice sticky lacing.
