From notes. 330ml bottle with no best by. After opening the bottle it started to ooze foam out of the top . Pours a very pale, hazy, golden color into a Fantome tulip, with a frothing two finer head after a very gentle pour. There’s almost no lacing, as the foam just slides down the glass. Smell; lots of spices are very present, with a touch of pepper and coriander with some nice fruity notes. There’s also a bit of a musty funkiness off in distance. Taste; this is much more fruity in the flavor that it was in the aroma, with lots of tropical fruits. There’s a bit of pineapple, apricots, peaches and oranges. The yeasts come off as a bit musty/funky, and the malts and spices add some sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a lively mouth filing carbonation. The drinkability is really good, and I think it would be great on a hot summer day. This isn’t my favorite Chouffe beer, but it’s still better thatn most.

Huge white head on top of a straw colored beer. Lots of esters. Gets better as it warms up. Sweet friuts and some spice.

This is indeed a very good beer, just a bit too sweet in the finish for me. Very spicy, fruity, very carbonated. Non-pasteurization gives it a wonderful natural evoluting taste and aroma. Taste it with a t-bone steak!!

Bouteille.

Pours a hazy golden-amber with a creamy white head. Citrus aroma with a bit of yeast. Flavours of hops and spices (coriander?), with a yeast finish. No hint of alcohol warmth at the end, even though it sits at a cheery 8%. Really tasty, very unique, this is a lovely complex beer.

Pours with a rich vanilla-colored head, with a warming citrus aroma. Light bronze color with a hazy body. Good carbonation, but finishes subtle on the palate. Flavors of apricot and spicy malts, with a refreshing dose of skunky Saaz hops. The sweet and malty banana and pear notes underneath maintain the beer’s tripel-style base; rounding out the body. Very tasty.

Bottle. Cloudy amber coloured with a creamy white head. Aroma of fruits with notes of yeast and spices. Flavour of fruits, yeast and spices with flowery notes. Not very exciting.
