75 cl bottle. Golden with a lots of sediment and a huge, nice head. The aroma has sweet, but light notes of fruits, coriander and yeast. The flavour has the same notes, but also citrus (tangerine), and a hint of resin in the finish. A really nice blonde, a little more complex than most.

BB 2009. Pours a hazy, orange-copper color with sediment; head is average, white, and fizzy while being mostly diminishing. Nose is orange peel, banana, apricot, yeasty, complex spicing, and light floral; pleasant, nothing special. Spices more prominent in the flavor with pepper, thyme, and oregano; backing notes of orange (fruit and peel), yeast, light banana, and faint toasted notes. Dries out somewhat as it progresses towards the finish which lingers with orange peel, some earthy/spicy notes, and yeast with an almost moderate bitterness. Palate is soft to lively, medium, and delicate/soft in texture. Alcohol is present in this, moreso than others of the style, but it only adds to the boldness of the beer. A great combination of unique, spicy, power with exceptional drinkability. This brewery really knows how to create some great spiced Belgians.

Fruity (apricots, plum) aroma with spicy hints. . . Clear, burnt orange/golden with Tall puffy white meringue-like head.. . . Fruity, spicy, yet quite smoothly balanced. Hints of coriander. . . Lt/med body with lots of carbonation. Takes a while to settle down . . . Very tasty Belgian Blonde beer. The Spicy character balances the fruitiness from the yeast. .

Tap. Pours a golden color with a slight tinge of orange. Nose is funky in a good way; malts and fruits. Flavor is barnyard, apples, and musty. Spicy with a lively carbonation. This is delicious and reminds me of a saison.

Re-rate 7/15/08: Draught. Hazy golden-orange with a quickly-diminishing medium white head. Fruity aroma with coriander, citrus, malt, some yeast and maybe a bit of honey. Sweetish spicy flavor with coriander, fruity yeast, some caramel and a dry finish with notes of hops and alcohol. Medium-bodied. Not bad but definitely not as good as I used to think it is. Way too spicy for my liking. 8/3/6/3/13=3.3

(Re-rated on 7/7/07. Numbers are the same. Added a bit to the description). Bottle. Clear golden, a bit sparkling, with a big white head. Aroma is wonderful malty sweet, fruity and spicy. Flavor is sweet, yet not too sweet, citrusy, spicy, and with light hoppiness that gives a great balance. Finishes spicy, sweetish, a bit alcoholic, and with a bitter touch. Medium body. 8/4/8/4/17=4.1

Hazy dark gold. Not much aroma. OK head. Little tingly palate. This one shines on the flavor. Very smooth and very tasty. Nice little spicy / fruity flavors. Very drinkable.
