Blonde/yellow color, nice big white head. It kind of taste like a usual strong blond belgian beer; much carbonation and quitte a lot of bitterness. It does also have a hoppy sweetness-thing, that I like, in the background

On draft at Mead Hall. Poured into a 33cl Brasserie la’Chouffe glass. Golden with a rich white head. Citrus aroma. Peppery flavors, subtle citrus and flowery notes. Excellent example of the style.

33cl bottle. Fruity aromas, grass, sweet floral. Orange blond, huge white head, lasting, lacing, minimal sparkling. Bittersweet, fruits, grass. Soft bitter finish, fizzy mouthfeel, dry.

I used to have a huge bonk-on for this in my pre-rating days. Spice, pepper, coriander and a little bit of funk in the aroma. A dependable brew but my tastes have moved on.

Floral, fruity--apples, lemons--and earthy aromas. Somewhat hazy yellow-gold with a lasting, white head. A little sweet, spicy, hoppy, and fruity. Light, pretty refreshing, and finishes with floral hops and fruity esters on the palate.

Unclear golden. Medium fluffy white head - lasting. Yeast, wheat, some grain, spices, light fruity esters. Clean, refreshing, some alcohol and hay. Very enjoyable.

Bottle at The Pub, Leicester, just prior to LCFC beating Watford 1-0 in the play-offs. Has all the Belgian brilliance - soft lemon, chalk, dough, speckled sugar. So sweet, succulent and swiggable. Belies it’s strength. Firm hit at the finish, which kisses with alc.

Bought a 330ml bottle at the supermarket. Aroma of peaches and coriander. Has a golden/blond color and creamy white head and is highly carbonated. Taste is very complex with sweet, bitter and fruity. Taste of melons, citrus fruits and coriander. The afterdrunk is fresh and bitter. An excellent blond beer.

Bronzegolden colour. Great head and retention. Hops, spices and fruit in the nose. As with the Mc Chouffe, a very creamy feel in the mouth. Some sweetness of the yeast, hoppy citrus and more spices. Bitterness is nicely balanced. Bitter dry finish, but very subtle and lasting. Great Belgian strong ale.
