4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 progrock (21) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 30, 2006
Pours golden orange, with a mild head that fades pretty fast. Smooth and drinkable. A warm, nutty flavor with next to no aftertaste. Dry. A little coriander in the nose. Very little to object to really, and yet still has nice character. I’d buy this one again.

Troebel wit gouden bier, witte schuimkraag. Bloemige, kruidige geur, gist, coriander en mout. Licht zoetige smaak, hoppig, tarwe, mout en gist. Hoppige nasmaak.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 JBVatkeens (20) - Florida, USA - APR 26, 2010
Had this from a bottle, looks golden, and is not clear. Smells and tastes fruity, although the tastes and smells took time to develop.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Beerly There (20) - Oregon, USA - NOV 2, 2006
Classic bottle art. Cloudy orange with a medium sized head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a little musty with noticeable alcohol. Slighly sweet with a moderate malt backbone, spicy - the coriander is understated but noticeable, the hops kick in toward the end as it gracefully slides down your throat. Another great beer from a great brewery.

Bottle 33cl. Color: amber/yellow, hazy. head is white and fizzy. Aroma: very fresh with some touches of citrus, peach, pineapple, soured milk and a little spicy. Taste: sweet and sour in the beginning, lightly bitter and lightly sweet in the aftertaste. Texture is watery. Very nice one!

Lite in color and taste. Easy to drink and stays on the palate surprisingly. Simple but effective.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 oldbaldguy (17) - , Minnesota, USA - AUG 30, 2008
Bottled, Cloudy golden with some floaties present. This one is obviously past its prime. Still has nice citrus, coriander aroma going, but it’s overpowered by oxidation. Still drinkable, but a disappointment. Would love to tast this fresh.

Wonderfully thick and long lasting head that left a nice amount of lacing.A lot going on here ,citrusy ,peppery, sweet ,bitter, all well balanced.Add that really fun carbonation and you’ve got another winner.

Here in Quebec we have a beer named "Blonde d’Achouffe" that is a pale imitation of this awesome beer from the Ardennes. If you live in Quebec go to the SAQ an grab the real Chouffe : it will be a very good comparison test to separate a normal beer from an exquisite one :)
