Jan 1, 2007 Standard Belgian style done well. Cloudy dull orange with a big fizzy head upon pouring. Fruity nose with some spice and corriander. Palate is more powerful than the nose suggests with a kick of sweet malts and faint licorice driving a warming finish.

Jan 2, 2010 Hazy yellow color with a tall frothy white head. Aroma of grain, spice, and banana. Flavor of yeast, fruit, clove and other spices. Well-carbonated with solid lacing. Very enjoyable!

Sep 15, 2006 this was an excellent Strong ale. Classic belgian flavor. nice warmer alcohol effect and even nicer finish. A slow sipping belgian treat. I’ll look for this one again.

Oct 25, 2006 Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar: Aroma is fruity and spicy with a little yeast. Hazy pale orange color with a medium white head. Flavor is fruity with orange, corriander and lemon, some hop bitterness and a peppery sensation finishing lightly sweet and acidic. Medium bodied and smooth with fizzy carbonation.

May 6, 2006 Shared this with friends over a wild pheasant dinner...a perfect compliment.
Poured a orange-tan color with a billowey cap that satcked in the glass. Active effervesence. Aromas of sweet malts spice, citrus and some must. Great malt spine soft mouth feel. Great whack of sweet malts up front is balanced by the medicinal spiciness of the hops and cinnamon/corriander...citrus peel. Wet finish with a tart after taste. A great ale.

Apr 28, 2007 750ml bottle. Pours a clear golden with a large long lasting white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, corriander, yeast spice, and light herbal hops. Taste is the same with a hint of citrus. Medium mouthfeel that finishes dry and spicy. A tried and true favorite.
